Quality built, works well
I ordered one of these in a heavier spring tension a few years ago and it has held up very well. This was purchased specifically for it’s light spring tension for a Family member with hand strength problems. They found it to be very helpful and provided just the right amount of resistance.

Good product, but Not enough resistance
Decent product. But the 1.5lb is misleading and not enough resisrance (for me) at all. I returned to find a product with more resistance. But the product is well built.

Almost perfect for string instrument exercises
I got the lowest strength as I’m a senior with a bit of arthritis. I want to increase my finger strength and also practice on using them independently. I play ukulele and recently took up the violin so I need to keep my fingers limber and strong. I really like this device. It seems like it will be very helpful. It works in either hand. It’s comfortable to use and helps me isolate the fingers, especially the pinky, and helps with joint flexing. I almost knocked off one star because the third and fourth pads rub against each other a little. But, that could be a result of me not pushing straight down. I may move up to the next level after a few months. Also easy to pack so I can exercise anywhere. It’s noiseless so you won’t disturb your neighbor on a plane.

Easy to use
Just came back from Germany where my niece uses this Prohands Gripmaster after she broke her wrist. Having pain in 2 fingers of my left hand I immediately ordered one for my own use and now I need to work on my discipline as every time I use it my whole hand feels better. I have now put it next to my TV control to use it when watching television. It is easy to use and very comfortable in my hand and I use lower tension and do exercise my fingers slowly…..maybe after some weeks of doing this I can also try learning to play the piano?….it is very well made, light but sturdy.

Looks like a well made product
Bought these for therapy after my wife broke her wrist. The therapist she is working with now said she is not ready for this yet, but also said it was a good purchase. I purchased a 4 pack that was listed as "All Tension Levels," but I had to buy this XX-Light tension level separate. I have been using the XX-Light myself, and feel some improvement after just a few uses. I can't attest to the long term effectiveness just yet, but it looks like a well made product. I was looking for your basic V-shaped wrist exerciser when I came across these. I like that they let you work each finger individually. If you go to GripMaster's website, you can download a pdf with lots of exercises. I put that on my phone so I can use them on the go. They are each marked with their tension level, but it's not that easy to see. I took a label maker and marked them 1 through 5. I'm 6' and she's 5' 6", they seem to fit both of our hands comfortably. Overall, pleased with this purchase.

Parfait !
