Essential and Transformative
One of the great treasures we have in Audre Lorde is her ability to help us grapple with complexities associated with binary issues of dominance and subordination. This text is essential and deliberately incisive in its ability to address racism with respect to intersectionality and unpacking institutional power relations. We are all better when we dare to apply Lorde's practical wisdoms and our world can be reimagined if we move beyond the fears that often keep us complacent. -Stanley L. Johnson, Jr., Ph.D.

Small but powerful
Must read. A brilliant author that we must expose our youth too. I love her. I live and breathe Audre. A small book with a few essay that all can be find online. But if you are a fan it's a great book to add to your collection.
