Accurate
I used this test along side the NHS bowel screening test, for peace of mind, rather than having to wait 2 weeks for the result. Both tests, fortunately, were negative. I found the FIT test fairly easy to use, I didn’t collect samples over 3 days as it advises in the notes, collecting one sample was bad enough! You have to wait exactly 10 minutes for the results, which is quite tense, but the result was very clear. I would definitely use it again.

easy to use
very easy to use, did help put my mind at easy while i was waiting for a gp appointment and the nhs one that was sent away was clear also. I do however recommend no matter if the result is normal you still do tests through the GP/NHS as its good to make sure its 100%. I only did this as was waiting 2 weeks for gp appointment

Didn't work - would not buy again
I have purchased this before, with no issue, but this time it didn't show any result at all - despite me following the instructions very carefully. I wouldn't buy it again as it shouldn't be unreliable.

very good
So easy to do, results in 5 mins. I am over 75 Having bowel problems, got a bit scary. phoned NHS bowel centre they said not eligible for a bowel kit, go to doctor, our doctor only doing phone consultations.so order this test, very easy to do, nervous waiting the 5mins, results negative, lifted a cloud off my shoulders. will do this test every year. If you are having problems even if not do this test better to be safe than sorry.Buying one for my 50yr old daughter.

Good however please read
It's worth knowing that if you are comparing this as an NHS one for bowel screening this would be accurate. However of you are having a FIT test from your GP based on symptoms then this test is not for you. The GP test reference range is below 10 this test detects blood from 30 upwards which yes is a lot more sensitive for bowel screening tests but not for general referral tests from the GP. Also if you are using this because you had a positive from an at home FOB test the results may be different as a FOB test can detect blood from the upper and lower digestive track. E.g it can pick up blood from stomach ulcers etc as well as anything from the lower bowel. This test is for the lower bowel only as per NHS FIT tests. It's just worth noting this information prior to buying.

False positive?? Maybe, I dunno
I'm not sure how to feel. I done this test and it came back positive. Literally in 5 minutes two pink lines, and i only doing the sample for one day not 3 like suggested. I went to GP about the positive test and they said they won't accept private tests and I had to do one of the NHS ones.. which came back negative.. so now what. How often is this test a false positive?
