EMI Troubleshooting Cookbook for Product Designers (Electromagnetic Waves)

This isna great book, and helped me get up to functionality early on in my EMC career! Clearly written, well organized, and solid practical guidance to get you on the road to compliance (or at least narrow down the issues away from the "simple" stuff)

This a great book that both explains the physics of EMI in relatively simple terms that other engineers can understand as well as provides useful ways and tips to troubleshoot equipment with EMI issues. I have other EMI books such as Ott and Paul but the theory and math quickly gets unwieldly for me. This book is much easier to understand and covers the same basic theory. Pat and Ken did a great job writing this. Thanks

This book is a must-have guide for anyone designing power electronics. The state-of-the-art for power density, power conversion switching speed, and transient response times is making it harder to design systems that meet EMI and EMC requirements. This book goes through all the needed skills from measurements to mitigation. I am asking all our engineers to read it thoroughly.

Good comprehensive book for solving the problems and hopefully preventing or reducing the problems next time. The beginning has very basic concepts so flip around the book to the parts that apply to your product.

This isn't teh sirt of book you read from start to finish, but I've found the parts I have consulted very useful.

This is a relatively quick read for a young hardware design engineer to help coalesce the mathematical ideals tough in school, into a much more practical understanding.

Really excellent book.

It just explains test setup. But people want to solve problems.

It is a good book for hardware designers worried about EMC issues. The book gives good ideas to measure EMIs using low cost instruments. It is not necessary to have high level knowledge about electromagnetic fields to understand it.
