But I use this 3/4 bar to torque the main cap bolts on a Detroit Diesel DD15. The enigne sits vertical on the ground on its flywheel and I can jump on to the 3/4 bar to tighten the bolts . And I weigh 200lbs. Bolt torque specs are 180ft lbs plus 180' degree turn. I use the 3/4 bar to do the final 180' degrees and it’s tight. **Q: What is the max torque rating on this ratchet?** A: More than you can produce. I've gotten mine up to 980 foot pounds.
