You can install these lights virtually anywhere, thanks to their canless design and ultra-slim, ½"" profile that avoids obstacles like joists and ducting; the HLB series can also safely come into contact with insulation. Customize your look with a 5-position switch that lets you control the color temperature— from warm white (2700K) to daylight (5000K). The HLB series is perfect for general area lighting applications in low to medium-height ceilings, delivering up to 750 lumens (4-inch model) or 1,150 lumens (6-inch model). Additional features ensure an air-tight installation that prevents light and air from escaping, saving energy. Engineered and tested in the U.S.A., HALO has been a contractor-preferred brand for over 65 years and is the gold standard in LED recessed lighting.

Review: Easy to Install and Emits Great Light - These are extremely easy to install. They have multiple lighing modes so its easy to adjust based on each room. The wiring was easy and they are great quality.
Review: Looks Great in My Shower Ceiling! - I'm almost done with finishing the basement on my new (3-yr-old) house. The tub is in, and the tile is fixed. All I needed for that was a water-proof light fixture for the ceiling. So, when I saw this ultra-thin LED light designed for just the job that I needed it for, I ordered it. There's not a whole bunch to say about this. The box that feeds the power to the light are much more sealed than the average box that I'm used for all my other lights. There is a seal between the light rim and the ceiling with will keep water and mist out of that area. You can control the color of the LED light with five different settings and dim it down to five percent of full (with no flicker). It's easy to install with the strong spring clips that hold it in place. Those same clips allow you to easily pull down the light if you wish to change its color or for any other reason. All good features, plus it looks good when it's lit! Not that I ever expect to use it, but there is a five-year warranty on the light. Have you ever noticed that products with long warranties tend not to break? I guess that's why they can offer such a long warranty.

## Features

- INDOOR/OUTDOOR ELEGANCE: Wet Location-listed for soffits, walkways, showers, indoor areas, and more. Matte white finish with textured lens for smooth light distribution

- SELECTABLE COLOR TEMPERATURE: Select your color temperature with a 5-position switch, from warm white (2700K) to daylight (5000K). Add a compatible dimmer for flicker-free dimming to 5%. Additional trims are also available
- EASY INSTALLATION: No can light housing or junction box required. The included junction box is repositionable and spring clips firmly secure the fixture to the ceiling
- ESTABLISHED, REPUTABLE BRAND: HALO products are engineered and tested in the U.S.A. and have been a contractor-preferred brand for over 65 years. We offer superior quality, U.S.-based customer service, and a 5-year product warranty

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy install ... unless. Bright, functional, out of the way
*by J***L on May 25, 2024*

What I like: It's bright, you can choose between 5 different K ratings. (If you're putting it in a closet, consider using 2700K or 3000K. I used 3500K and it is a bit too bright) and the installation was relatively easy! The quick connect connectors are easy to use, just push the house's wires into the slot. What I didn't like: I'm used to using wire nuts. The pre-attached quick connect connectors are something I, as a complete beginner, was unfamiliar with. (But once I learned all I had to do was push the wire in, this was MUCH better than a wire nut!) Errata: 1. I replaced an existing closet light. As such, I had to cut away part of my ceiling. This was easy enough with the provided cardboard template. Just something to be aware of. (Now I've got a mess in my closet to clean up!) 2. The color temperature switch is on the outside of the J-box which makes changing the color temp easy. I've seen other recessed lights that these switches are inside the J-box. 3. The J-box has punchouts. But I didn't utilize that, preferring to route the wiring through the plastic tabs. I used a flathead screwdriver to pop open the plastic tab.
