Braava Authentic Replacement Parts - 2000 mAh NiMH Battery for Braava® 380t and Mint 5200

Bought this to replace the battery that died in my iRobot Braava 380, which I bought about five years ago. I pulled up a Youtube video and followed the instructions to replace the battery. Quite straight-forward and easy. Although I feel the iRobot does not last as long as it used to after each charge, it is working well, and I'm glad for not immediately creating electronic waste.

I was seriously considering buying a new IRobot mop. It would not charge—it would run about 3 feet before it was dead again. Looked online, found a replacement battery and decided to give it a shot. Received it quickly, was easy to uninstall and reinstall. Charged quickly and is working like new (the mop is about 7 years old and gets used regularly). I’m a happy homemaker!

The first replacement battery I ordered was a dud. It was dead out of the box. I don’t expect it to be fully charged, but I’m always suspicious when it’s lost all charge by the time I open it. The first one I charged on the turbo charge unit and got all of 20 minutes out of it. I charged it again overnight with a direct plug-in to my Brava rather than using the turbo unit. Same thing. Send it back for a replacement. Second one is golden. Arrived with about 45 minutes worth of charge. Charged it up on the turbo unit and we’re an hour in and it still going. I’m used to getting an hour and a half to two hours out of it. Looks like this one’s good to go. The replacement was easy. I’m a long time Amazon user and I had the new one before I even shipped the dead One back to them. Please know if you get it dud send it back for replacement.

The battery arrived in three days. The battery had a charge, but I went ahead and charged the battery completely before using. Works great and I can sweep and mop a lot longer now. I guess my old battery was growing weaker for endurance. The new battery lasts twice if not more longer than my original battery. I can get approx. 2.5 to 3 hours of use before requiring a charge. That is whole lot better than my old battery did when it was new. Well pleased and I would highly recommend this battery for Braava 380 users.

I bought this as a replacement battery and it did not charge correctly on the cradle charger. After reading thoroughly through the owner's manual, I found a section that stated that the unit needs to be charged and run down three times with a direct plug in of the charger into the unit (not using the cradle). Once this was done, the charger cradle will work for ongoing charging.

We bought this two months ago for our 380t and till today we know it works. Our mop robot is not charging well as it is always singing during charge on the docker. so when it is singing, I just hold power button for 10 seconds. It becomes quite. After 15 mins , it sings again, I just hold for another 10 seconds. When it is fully charged and the light becomes blue, it will not sing. You may try if you have a similar situation. I just left it close to my desktop during charging. At least I know the battery I bought is fine.

Replacing the battery took about a minute, I let it charge overnight, and now I have a functional mop robot and a clean kitchen floor. Much cheaper and less wasteful than buying a whole new device.
