Took 2 minutes to install and works great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Don't overtighten the sway control bar *by F***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2024* This product and a sway control bar provides a safe and inexpensive travel trailer sway control for my RAM 1500 pulling either a 3200lb single axle RPod 171 or a dual axle 4400lb Escape 21C. I have had to dodge a duck family and a moose while towing with this set up at about 65mph with the RPod and nothing exciting happened with the trailer. Did not see any swinging when I looked back as soon as it was all over. HOWEVER, I have finally realized that it is really easy to overtighten the sway control bar and the "tab" will bend if you tow it long enough (~2 bent tabs in ~54,000 towing miles). There are some photos of this in the reviews header. Also, you have to be obsessive about not backing up with the sway bar tightened as that was the cause of one bend. Eventually, you will forget to loosen the sway bar. It looks like it continues to function well, even when bent, so don't panic. I changed mine for the "aesthetics". It would solve the problem if the manufacturer used hardened steel for the plate.
