R1004 Riot Series 4 Channel Amplifier Car Audio - Class A/B, 400 High Output, 2-8 Ohm Stable, High/Low Level Inputs, Full Range

***UPDATE 8/4/18*** I went mudding a week ago and accidentally sank my jeep in a pond 🙃 Completely flooded the floor of my interior and soaked the amp, luckily it was off. A couple days later I ripped the entire interior out and washed it out really good, like literally washed the inside of my jeep with a hose. I figured the amp had already been soaked what more harm could I do. Got everything back together after drying out, fired up the jeep, turned the stereo on and BAM! Perfect sound quality. If it can get soaked twice and still work I think that says something. *end of update* Did you know, that running your power lead in close proximity to your audio cables can cause loss of sound clarity, distortion, and you guessed it, alternator whine?! I’ve had to fix plenty of botched installs due to this. I did a little test and ran my audio cables directly next to my 4g power lead going to both my amps. Heavy whine and almost no signal clarity. Re routed my cables to run on the opposite side of my power lead and wow! Signal was clear, bassy, and no alternator whine. This amp is phenomenal and woke up the old Bose speakers I pulled out of a 2001 Pontiac GTP (2ohms at 50 watts RMS, give or take). I drive a Jeep Wrangler TJ and space is precious, so I can’t have big amps and fancy subs. This fit under my driver seat perfectly and cranks some serious audio to my speakers, even with the top down. Great price for a quality low budget system and I get lots of compliments from friends. Piece of junk. Dont believe me then go ahead and get it. Waste your money. Amazon should not be affiliated with this junk. Edit: So if anyone comes accross this and wonders, then I'll go more into detail about why it is junk. 1. The amp amplifies any electrical noise inside your vehicle on top of the never ending beeping sound it already makes. (Read the other reviews about this. It's way too common to ignore.) 2. The amp does not put out clean sound at all. (I used this for my door speakers.) I know this is not clean sound even when comparing this amp my also budget 2 channel "Do" amp it sucks. It can make your speakers sound blown. The amp throws random frequencies to your speakers whenever it wants because it has a built in non-adjustable crossover. It's not always giving you example: 10hz-20khz the full time if you want it.. Based off what I know. If the amp you are wanting to get has an adjustable hpf and lpf then it will most likely give you the sound you need. Make sure to read reviews to see if people are having grounding issues with the amplifier causing it to make harsh noises. Still on the budget side of things you get what you pay for. Just don't agree with boss ripping people off with this amplifier. Do your research. I hope this review helped you learn from my own mistake. FACE PALM.

Exactly what it says. You get what you pay for. I knew I was buying a cheap amp when I bought it. Don't go into it expecting $500 sound. It puts out it's rated power...sort of. They DO tell you the true RMS @ _ Ohm ratings of it in the manual and fine print but the packaging and box does the usual flea market audio trick...you know, the whole overrating the power output. Throwing 15000 Watts at you for $30...Yeah, that thing. I would NEVER use this with a woofer of any kind. It does a noticeably better job than my Alpine headunit for powering the front and rear speakers but that's about all I would recommend doing with it. The amp performs well under a seat and I haven't noticed it getting unusually hot or any cut outs. It's quite small which is nice for tight fits. It's comparable in size to a typical factory amp. I did notice that Amazon claims it has a remote subwoofer level control... Well, I didn't notice anything like that in the box. Not a big loss. At the end of the day, it's a $30 amp. It'll do a better job powering your mids than your headunit or factory amp but that's all it's good for. Good little amp for the money. Nothing more. Nothing less.

This amplifier exceeded my expectations. The installation was simple and the difference in the car's audio is impressive: the bass is heard deeper, the treble is clearer and in general the sound is much stronger. It does not distort even if it increases the volume and you can see the quality in every detail. In addition, the size is compact and does not take up too much space. Without a doubt, an excellent purchase for those who enjoy good music in the car.

This little amp seemed like it would work just fine after I installed it. Sound wasn't great, but i must admit it was at least as good if not better than expected for the price. Then I turned the ignition on, and the noise was insane! Buzzing, repetitious clicking, whine, etc.. It was the worst I've ever heard, truly, and i've owned some pretty cheap amps before. Anyway, I tried a Boss inline 12A power filter. Works great sometimes, but in this case made it worse actually. Then I tried an old in-line RCA filter i had thrown in the electronic scrap box because it didn't work and I couldn't return it. It worked on this amp! This is a Left/Right RCA filter that says "20 Amp High Quality Noise Suppressor Isolation Transformer" on the outside housing. It didn't work for the application I bought it for (so I got a BSN40 and it did work.) Glad I saved this one though, because it killed every noise the amp was making and sound quality was not compromised. The bass might actually be slightly richer/deeper now on this full frequency range application, but i'll have to find another filter exactly the same for the other 2 channels. I see several sources here that sell what appears to be it, but you never know with generic label stuff like this. So if you have this amp and don't know what to try next, the filter I suggested worked perfect for me, even though 2 of them cost as much as the amp does. :)

Most boss products are either a hit or a miss, and I gotta say this is one of their hits! For the price, this amp sounds great. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cheap, good amp.

The Amp earth's itself through the RCA cable and cause huge feed back, even with a ground loop isolator! Tryed multiple Earth points and different RCA cables as wanted to be as fair as possible when using this product but you CANNOT get the noise to stop. APPARENTLY returns are unavailable will be raising a complaint

Funktioniert fast tadellos, jedoch wird bei laufendem Motor die Oberwelligkeit des Generators nicht weiter geglättet und mann nimmt dieses als Surren in den Lautsprechern wahr. Dieses Surren könnte man entgegenwirken wenn man paralel zu den Plus- und Minusanschlusses einen Kondensator betreibt. Die Einstellpotis funktionieren reibungslos.

イコライザーは付いてないし、w数あってんの？って並にならない。これ買うくらいならアップガレージで中古買った方が全然良い。 安いとはいえ酷い。 音質「ノイズすごい」 安さ「値段同等」 取り敢えず2度と買う事は無い。
