Cleavon Little plays an escaped black convict who ends up being given the poison chalice job of the new Rockridge Sheriff by scheming railroad developer and politician Hedley LaMarr (Harvey Korman). Notionally sent in to protect the ungrateful Rockridge community from marauding gangs, his only ally turns out to be alcoholic former gunslinger The Waco Kid (Gene Wilder). Though initially expressing racial prejudice the townsfolk eventually adopt the Sheriff to help them outwit Hedley LaMarr, deciding to construct an exact replica of their town to fool the invading posse. The film descends into postmodern chaos as the action spills out of the film set into wider Hollywood. Wow, this movie 😍 is a total tongue 😜 in cheek, hilarious, side splitting, 🤪 goofy, cult classic, up there with Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein, Richard O'Brien Rocky Horror Picture Show, Little Shop of Horrors (can't remember who directed this) Wayne's World 1&2, Bill & Ted 1&2, Weird Science, Ferris Buller's Day Off, Monty Python Life of Brian, etc etc You should 💯% need to check this out 😍🎥🍿❤️ Disclaimer: If you are easily offended, prudish, can't take things with a pinch of salt, have no sense of humour, can't take a joke etc THEN this movie 🎥 is NOT FOR YOU & because of this, you will be missing out on a TOTAL CLASSIC.

Good Sunday film, stupid and funny

Good ‘ol fun western
What can be said? It’s Blazing Saddles. The movie was fun, there were some pretty funny moments. But I’d couldn’t help but think that it was a bit overhyped. I’d ears such great things about it that, when ai watched it, I felt a bit empty, feeling as though it wasn’t as good as I expected. But don’t let that put you down. It’s nonetheless a great movie. A stand-out actor I’d say would have to be Gene Wilder’s character, who was good fun throughout the movie. Good movie, and I hope to delve more into the world of Mel Brooks.

Funniest Film Ever!
The first time I watched this film was way back in 1973 the prequel to Bruce Lee's Enter The Dragon. I have watched this video every weekend on various medium and now every weekend on Amazon Prime. Biggest boost to race relations ever^^ bringing cultures together in the most delightfull and FUNNY WAY. JUST BUY IT!!

Millenials beware
True comedy classic made in an era were you could say what you though without the PC police arriving at you door. Classic Mel Brooks, crude, outlandish and damn right in your face funny. Snowflakes, him her it me look away. You have been warned Sam Smith.
