Does this oil help with growing long hair?. It this good on fine hair? I looked at other oils on here but i am not sure? help?.

Hello Brittany,Using castor oil as a leave in treatment has been known to increase hair growth, a few other things you could try is a biotin shampoo and conditioner. Also a M.S.M. and or Biotin supplement. Both Biotin and M.S.M. help with hair skin and nail growth. MSM helps to thicken hair.Hope this helps Have a Great Day!

The word “Pure” for Castor Oil just means naturally extracted with no additives. There is also a “Refined” Castor Oil that has most of the natural components – vitamins, minerals, etc, AND ricin – removed. The “Pure” is best for skin & hair, the “Refined” is best for food applications (no ricin, safe to ingest). It is supposed to be rare to find ricin even in the “pure” versions, and even more rare if this “pure” version is heat processed. Fancy labels are not a guarantee of safety.
