Top quality beats a cheaper price
Have used these for years and they are wonderful. Tried one of the generic products and was disappointed in the quality ( returned for a refund) so I went back to these. Will not be tempted to sacrifice quality for the price again!

Looks like what you get at the home center and works just the same.
I noticed these are slightly different in appearance (stamp on end looks a bit more washed out and harder to read on the batch I received) than what home depot carries, but that doesn't really matter since it's the exact same. A lot of workers make fun of these for their cost over nails, but boy these are great later when you make a mistake and need to take some straps/hangers down.

Good fasteners and hold well. If you can afford their extra cost over nails they are handy to have.
Cost over nails is a factor, but I didn't need a whole lot. I needed more than the $10-12 120-pack at Lowes so buying this larger pack helped to keep cost lower. I used them for attaching joist hangers and hurricane ties for a lean-to and a deck. So-far-so-good. A battery-powered impact driver to get these in weighs less than a nail gun, but you also have to apply more pressure to get it to sink into the wood vs. it just spinning (and getting hot), so that's the pro/con when you're on a ladder putting up hurricane ties. Good to always keep in mind what problem you're trying to solve and what is the best tool to do that. This was a good solution for my problem at least.

Fantastic Product!
These are great for metal connector installs on pressure treated lumber and my 1/4 Dewalt impact drives them in with ease. They are the best choice for the application mentioned.

D39 sismpson SST fasteners 1/4 hex head.
Up to code work great. However ive found off brand ones gripp on the same wood better. Recommend for code inforced jobs.

Solid screw, great price
This isnโt always the case but, this time they sent five 100qty packs, instead of one 500 pack, which is totally fine with me. I do like using screws instead of the nails just in case I have to take it apartโฆ itโs super hard to disassemble hangers when they are nailed. Iโve used these for most of my Simpson strong tie hanger installations. I generally use these shorter ones when screwing horizontally into the two by to secure the joist hanger. Then use the longer ones like the 2 1/2 for when Iโm screwing into something thicker.

Went through hundreds of these when building my deck. Don't skimp on quality. Buy these for all your hangers and clips etc.

Pricey but could at least get a bulk box. Work well for the Simpson hangers in our deck project.
