The product itself - yes it tastes nice, not quite like a strawberry milkshake but it's perfectly drinkable. The price was cheaper than I found in the supermarkets so I guess it's good value for money in that respect. I only used half a tub and 3 months later I went back to it and the powder was still powder, it hadn't clumped up. So again this is a good sign that some research has gone into making the powder last a long time in the tub. Does it help you lose weight? Well that's up to the individual. They are quite filling but be warned, you will still need to regulate what you eat. it's not a magic fix. If you don't have any will power then you'll end up using a bit and leaving the rest in the cupboard. This makes for a very expensive failed diet. My advice is to fast the evening before you start, and then eat nothing (or just a few bits of fruit) all morning, and try to just have a shake or a bit of chicken breast in the evening. If you can get through the first couple of days like this, your stomach shrinks and you begin to feel less hungry. If you're still feeling hungry then drink a large coffee (preferably back with no sugar), or water. This helps fill your stomach with fluid and prevent rumbling! Whatever you do, you need to think about why you want to lose weight. If you're not in the right frame of mind then you won't succeed. Products like this can help you, but it's just as easy (and cheaper) to substitute this powder for regular non-sugar drinks and some plain protein. Psychologically, I felt that as I was drinking the slim-fast, that it would do the work for me. This is dangerous, as you then think "it won't hurt to have a sandwich or a biscuit, becasue I've only had slim-fast today". If you hear yourself saying this, STOP..THINK...why am I fat? Oh yeah, becasue I eat too much of the wrong thing. And go eat an apple. If you really have a craving for something, suck a sugar-free sweet or something. Just don't eat the whole pack!

Have always been a bit down on these products but I need to lose a lot of weight for some surgery to take place, lost 3 stone last year and surgeon said I need to lose another 3 and suggested Slimfast as an option. Went big with my first purchase not to waste money on a small one, tried it today for the first time today and have to say I disagree with everything I've always thought about it, easy to make, no lumps and the Strawberry is very tasty. As for weight loss, well only time will tell but if this is replacing my usual meals then things should be OK.

Started off well, but lost interest after a few weeks, my fault, should have purchased other flavours to keep it interesting. Easy to mix, good taste and mixed well when shaken with skimmed milk. Received in great condition, the foil seal still in tact.

I laughed like a drain at the reviewer saying they were putting it on porridge! I remember when I was a child wondering how many Ryvita you had to eat to be thin. Whatever method of losing weight you choose, the one ingredient needed is willpower. So Slimfast meal replacements are exactly that. They are instead of a meal.They are a shorthand way of portion control, while ensuring you get basic nutrients. You don't have to think about it, don't have to count calories. Personally, I use soya milk, as I don't like real milk and it's the nearest in nutritional value to the real thing. I also add 2 teaspoons of psyllium husk to the milk and put it in the fridge a few hours before a meal, which makes the shake very thick and is good for gut flora. Left overnight and you need a spoon! And it makes it very filling. I have quite a lot of weight to lose (about 3 stone, ideally...well, 2 and a half now) and I think it's going to be easy and pleasant with Slimfast shakes. I like all the flavours I have tried (all except caramel and cafe au lait, I think) so I am unlikely to get tired of it.

Good value

I have been using Slimfast powder for the last 12 weeks. I replace breakfast and lunch with a shake and have a healthy meal for dinner. By visiting the gym three times a week, I have lost 10 kilos in about 11 weeks, just in time for the holiday season! I feel energetic, and the shake keeps me full for longer, which helps me avoid snacking. I highly recommend Slimfast! However, you need to have willpower and be ready to make a change. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Well it will do if you stick to a diet ! But yes it worked for me and I lost a couple of stone. Love the strawberry flavour, but there are other flavours. Mixes well and keeps in the fridge if you want to make two or three at a time. Buy a small packet first to make sure you like the flavour otherwise your wasting money. Says it has 50 servings inside but it doesn’t more like 45.

I love the taste of the shake. I have it for lunch and don't feel hungry after, however I've had to add healthy snacks to my diet to keep me feeling sustained until dinner.
