I bought 2 of these. One is for my daughter, whose teacher requested students get this particular calculator. So far, she hasn't used it for class because school just started. But she's prepared. For context, she's in honors math and I believe this will be in high use by end of week. The second one is for my bf who is getting his GED. When I researched, I found out this is the exact calculator on the test. So, while calculators may not be allowed during the test, if you master this, when the built in one appears, you should know exactly how to use it because you are practicing and studying with the physical version. Value for money is great. Just below what I could find in my local office supplies store. Solar powered comes in handy. Screen quality is good, not too bright, not dim. Fits great in a backpack and that's important for both people because backpacks get heavy fast. Superficially, I like the color for this calculator. For a basic calculator, it's overkill. But, but a nice advanced calculator for high school level and GED study, it's great.

This is a great calculator for a math student. Somewhat difficult to operate. One has to go to Ti website to download instructions. I found using the "classic" mode work for me, others more complicated.

I needed a scientific calculator for my Honors Math 2 class, and this one has been really good so far. It took me a little bit to get used to all the buttons, but once I figured it out, it was pretty easy to use. I really like the four-line screen because it makes it easier to see my calculations and check my work. It has pretty much everything I need for math class and seems like it will last a long time. Definitely recommend it if you need a calculator for school!

Great! I bought this for my online college since I have some math courses in my program and this was the calculator they taught courses with. This does everything I need it to do and response time is fast! It’s very easy to read the buttons and the button layout is straight forward. I actually used this for one math class so far and this was a big help! So easy to use and I love how affordable it is for students! Overall great purchase for students in need of a calculator for math courses! I even put some stickers on the top case to personalize it. Gotta romanticize math to get through it LOL 🤣😭

I'm not surprised to be writing this review about how great of a calculator this TI-30XS MultiView Scientific Calculator of Texas Instruments is because I still have my TI-85 from my high school algebra/calculus classes in the early nineties in my desk. I thought that the TI-85 was a great calculator then, and it still holds true today. My TI-85 from the nineties even still turns on and works believe it or not. I was in need of a non-graphing calculator because of some professional exams I will be subjecting myself too in the future. I love the multiview display on this item and I love the amount of functions. The buttons are super responsive and this calculator even looks decent. I think the color palette of blue/white and green works. The font is also easy to read. This calculator is probably the best option if you need a non-graphing calculator that can hold values. I would purchase this item again if needed and I would recommend this item to my family.
