Good quality
They are solid cast iron. Came in great shape. I ordered a total of 3 but surprisingly a 4th showed up and saw my credit card was charged. My husband did not care so I did not send it back. I personally don't like surprises like that.

Poorly crafted
Ant is VERY large. Poorly crafted. The legs are square stock. No attempt to round over or soften the look. Mine arrived with a leg snapped off. Not cute enough to replace. I chose a refund.

this is a gift for a friend
this is a really nice ant statue. i am giving to a dear friend as a joke gift due to an ant infestation in his home. he will appreciate the "irony" of this cast iron insect.

Pool Issue
So I saw a post on Facebook that this will keep black crows (grackles) away from your pool in the spring. I was very hesitant as I already have a owl & shiny aluminum hanging there and that has never scared them away. So I placed this ant on my pool ledge. I cannot believe it but it has WORKED. Sure I still get a few here and there but nothing like it was. Usually the railings are full of their “stuff” that they carry out of their nests & like to drop in nearby water!
