Review: Tinnitus sufferer loves this unit. - I have owned a couple of these over the years. I keep buying them as they run quiet on low and moderate on medium and high. They have a generous cord. I am guessing it's 8' I really have never needed to measure it. It moves a fair amount of air too. When used for work, I use it to ventilate work areas. This one was purchased thru desertcart as its cold weather outside (9*), and no one has a fan. This fan is being used to help circulate the warm air in a home at present. Mainly though this stays in my truck and goes into my hotel room each night, I am a road warrior and travel about 40 weeks a year. I need something that can handle bumps and bangs in the truck and keep on running. I have used it to circulate the air in the hotel room, giving me a more uniform heating or cooling. I have used it to dry wet clothing before work the next day. Boots are a little harder, but it can be accomplished. You'll likely never be able to achieve that with just hanging your clothing or boots over the hotel ac unit, well not very thorough anyway. For an added bonus, you can easily direct the airflow to push the warm or cool air to your liking. I have suffered from tinnitus 24/7 all my life, so I get added benefit of the almost quiet running. It's just loud enough if you will, to drown out the ringing in my ears. That allows me to sleep easier in the evenings. If I am having a bad night or a hard time sleeping, I just turn it up. A lot of people will ask how you can sleep with it on. It's not that hard, and the constant repetitive sound makes it reasonably easy to sleep. Having owned way more than 4 of these (Lasko brand but blue in color, yellow is the Stanley brand color scheme), I have no doubt this unit which is waiting on me at home will function as all the others have. I used 2 of my previous fans until my young kids got hold of them, and I honestly don't know what they did to them. But they stopped working after meeting 2, 8-year-olds. I have never had one of these go bad. Anything is possible; it's electronic, after all.
Review: Excellent Value! - I bought this to circulate air in my rv over the summer. It ran 24/7 in mostly 120 degree temps and held up great. The fan moves a high volume of air and the noise level is proportional. This fan can be used in a multitude of applications from drying carpet after steam cleaning or water leaks, to having more flexibility when directing air flow during workouts (Ie: bike trainer, treadmill). As far as noise is concerned, it might be a bit loud if you were trying to sleep with it running, unless you are looking for some white noise. It is not necessarily noisy because of quality but more because of the speed the fan is running. Overall this is a great quality fan that has a multitude of uses! As far as using it in my rv for air circulation it didn't really work as I intended. It did move a large volume of air and I was hoping to pull air from a forward vent and exhaust through a rear vent cooling the rv down through the summer months. It ended up just blowing hot air all around the rv. Honestly I think I had better luck placing a couple buckets of water inside for humidity (Arizona summers) and adding some vent covers so I could keep the vents open a bit more and not have to worry about rain storms. I am still happy to have the Stanley fan in my home and expect to get good use out of it for other projects/uses.

I have owned a couple of these over the years. I keep buying them as they run quiet on low and moderate on medium and high. They have a generous cord. I am guessing it's 8' I really have never needed to measure it. It moves a fair amount of air too. When used for work, I use it to ventilate work areas. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Versatile, Focused, Stable and Well designed.

I used this all weekend and I am very happy with it. First off this is the same as the lasko unit which is a great price at Walmart. I bought this because i have prime and I don't really care that it is yellow. The cord is longer than any other fan i've bought which is really nice as I almost always need an extension cord with every other fan I own. The tilting feature of the blower is why i purchased this over more industrial type carpet drying fans. It directs air in a very specific channel. It is setup about 15 feet from our a/c unit in the kitchen. The idea is move colder air around the corner that would normally only cool the kitchen and slightly beyond. Now the main area of the house is cooled more evenly and the kitchen is no longer frigid on mild summer days. Its much more compact than a box fan works better when you are further away. Box fans work great when you are relatively close to them- about 5 to 10 feet. This fan however is so focused at that range i find the air channel too focused to simply sit in front of. Some other users mentioned aiming it at the ceiling or a wall near you. This works well if your situation requires that the fan be closer to you. using this method cools you but you don't get that direct blast-to-the-face type cooling that blows all the loose paper in the house every which way. In the future, I plan on using this in the winter to move air from our woodstove to the back bedroom hallway. I am also going to use it to direct welding fumes outside when I am in the shop.
