Perfect storage bag for BBQ tools
I purchased this as a storage bag for BBQ tools (3 spatulas, 1 set of tongs and 1 meat fork). They’re all about 20” long and other advertised BBQ tool storage bags were twice the price for cheap material and an awkwardly flat shape. This bag is the perfect length and width to easily store all 5 BBQ tools (and at least 5 more). The seamed edges on both ends give it a sturdy rectangular shape and the material is solid quality. I also appreciate that it only zips open halfway, so I can easily remove or insert the tools while the lower half of the bag maintains its shape. This bag fit my storage needs perfectly.

Love this thing!
So, NOT for a tripod at all. A friend made me a pocket ukulele, very odd size: 22 inches long, and one body part about 4 inches wide. This case is great for a couple reasons. Firstly the obvious, no one wants an instrument without a case, and secondly, this model has small "piano" tuners, which means little rods with square ends which require a key to adjust. So without a case, where does the key go? Right now, on a string. Very tacky. Now, I have a good case with enough room for the instrument, some possible padding in the future, and a perfect pocket for the key. Not often do I give 5 stars. The product, price, and quick delivery (4 days) rate the best. Should I ever need a case for a tripod, I'll know where to look. Just one negative. I wish they had included a lot more dimensions in the description. One of the other reviewers did that. Thanks.

Basic case is a good value
Slik Tripod Carrying Case - Medium- 25" X 4.25" with Adjustable Carry Strap, Outside Pocket & I.D. Pocket. This low cost, light weight tripod carrying case is acceptable for protecting short tripods from scratches and dings in the trunk of your car. It is not padded, so may not be suitable for rougher use. If you feel you need some padding, an option would be to wrap your tripod in a towel before inserting it in the case. The Slik U-112 Deluxe tripod with three-way pan head folded fits in it perfectly. The case appears to be well-made. The zippered pocket is suitable for holding camera mounting studs or plates, a camera remote, or a camera cable release, but is not large enough to hold a tripod head. Because the case is a single layer of fabric with a vinyl coating on the inside and not padded, it can be folded compactly enough to fit in most coat pockets or camera bags. The vinyl lining provides some water resistance, but the case should not be expected to be waterproof or to float. The zipper on the main compartment opens the top of the case and about 2/3 of its length. The strap's length is adjustable from about 18" to about 40", and the strap is not removable and is not padded. I wish the case were available in a lighter color that would make it easier to see inside the case or its pocket. This tripod case is a good value.

Much better than the bag that came with my tripod
I did not expect much from this bag. I just needed a replacement for my old tripod bag. To my surprise, this bag is big enough to fit my larger tripod with fluid head and also a monopod! The strap is wide and long enough to can carry it as a slingshot which feels much more secure and comfortable to carry. The added zipper pocket and identification sleeve are a nice additions allowing me to insert a card with my contact information and carry allen wrenches for making adjustments to my equipment when needed. When I purchased this bag, I also purchased another tripod because I discovered a broken leg hinge on my old one and it came in a nicely padded bag. I would pay a little more for a bag like this with padding but for the price, this bag is a real bargain.

good!
This is a good tripod bag for beginners who getting in to photography or film. As your skills improve you don't have to get rid of the back keep it for you backup camera, film or lights tripod. You got the right size that fit the bag.

A cheap way to store your tri-pod or take it with you.
I use this with a cheap full size sunpak (22" folded up) tripod and it works well. The strap is long enough to adjust it so that the case fits across your back. I use this for day hikes and wildlife photography. The strap is adjustable, but there isn't really any padding on the strap, so it can get a little uncomfortable on long hikes. The radius of the case is maybe 7 inches so tripods with large panning heads should fit alright. You may want to double check the specs, but I don't have to disassemble my tripod for it to fit in the bag, which I find convenient. The case its self is just a woven bag that won't really offer any protection. If you need protection you shouldn't be buying this bag, since it's not really a case at all. I think its only intended use is to store and make transporting a tripod by hand a little easier. Just man up and this tripod bag shouldn't be a problem. For the price it's a five star item.

this bag should be included with purchase of a tripod and the shoulder strap is permanently affixed in a weird spot.
this bag has it's flaws but there's one that stands above all others: this should have been included with the tripod, in my case, the Slik 700DX AMT. it's not padded. the shoulder strap is not removable. there are no internal pockets for tools. the shoulder strap is not removable. there's no handle. the shoulder strap is comically short, somewhere halfway in-between a handle and a strap. the shoulder strap has no shoulder pad. the shoulder strap is not removable and permanently attached in an odd location. there's only one zipper. the shoulder strap is not removable. despite all of this, there's a business card holder stitched on, above a zippered exterior pocket that's smaller than you'd expect, as if you'd put this in your checked baggage even though there's absolutely no padding. the branding is comically large and high contrast so others know you cheaped out on a giant tripod with a weight rating far, far lower than its huge mass and proclaimed "Aluminum, Magnesium, Titanium" construction would imply (AMT, get it?). oh, and one more thing: the shoulder strap is not removable. at least it's a perfect fit at 30", accommodating the tripod at 27" folded with 3+" to spare for a ball head. all of the other tripod bags i've checked out, that can accommodate a 30-32" length, are unusually large around their circumference. add to that the fact that very few bags are made to fit a 30-32" length as most tripod bags go up to 27" then jump to 35" for some reason, most likely keeping pace with the most popular sizes sold and the latter being for lighting stands, backdrops and other rigging. it's $17 and is offered with Prime shipping, which, for this item was probably around $8 via USPS. yet Slik couldn't afford to pack these gratis with every tripod sold? conclusion: it's the best fit for the 700DX AMT with ball head. however, it has a lot of negatives working against it. in fact, it's almost useless as a tripod bag or as shelter. the only way it could be worse is if it absorbed rainwater. it seems to be designed purposely as a pack-in, yet it's being sold separately. at least i know you paid more than half the total price just to ship it.

Simple but good quality for the price
I have two Manfrotto tripods of different sizes. I bought this simple Slik bag for the small travel tripod, as I wanted something protective but light for my suitcase. The fabric is good quality and adds little to the weight of the tripod, essential for air travel. Just note, the bag has no accessory pockets, just a little window ID slip in pocket. Not an issue for me, as everything else, including the ball head, goes with the camera in my carry on bag.

Good quality - good value
I always worry about ordering stuff like this online, that I can’t see first to judge the quality. I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s a basic tripod bag, Un padded, but well put together, decent looking and really functional. Fits my Alta pro tripod perfectly at 30”. It’s a good value. I just could not trust all the no-name $12-$20 ones all over Amazon.
