This magazine paddle holster delivers as promised. The materials and construction are of excellent quality. It is rugged, durable, lightweight, and quite comfortable. The magazines are held firmly in place without any risk of falling out yet easily deployable without any dragging, sticking, or snagging. The draw is virtually silent and the matte black finish is non-refelctive which is useful for stealth operations. My Kimber 1911 mags fit perfectly. It does hold the clip's firmly even after I was running around with it on my hip.

Nice pouch. Clips securely to waist band, smaller than you might think so it's easily concealable (See the not very good pic for size relative to a Shield). Bought this for my S&W Shield 9 mags. They're a little odd, something between a single stack and a true double stack, but they fit fine in this. A little snug initially, but the pouches seem to mold to fit over a few days. Very happy with this pouch.

I ordered this pouch knowing the risk of my 9mm M&P Shield magazines not fitting. I thought, well.. if it doesn't work, I can always return it. So I gave it a shot. The mags fit VERY tight at first. This is indeed a single stack magazine pouch but the magazines for the Shield are just a little bulkier than the average single stack mag. Therefore, I removed the retention screw in the middle completely and they went in a lot better. I believe that there are such mixed reviews about them not fitting because holsters like these are made like how bulk ammo is made in the sense that there's no consistency in terms of size.. I haven't used mine yet at the range and unfortunately I do not shoot competitively so I cannot review it in that aspect BUT I have tried to quickly insert and remove the mags as if I was doing a speed reload and it's not that bad. Due to the soft material on the inside, let's just say it's not your typical Safariland or Blackhawk firearm holster that locks into place. It simply slides inside and is held by the pressure of the retention. Overall, with slight modification in terms of heating up to mold the mags, I give it 4 stars. I honestly can't complain about mine. Some people expect too much for something that costs too little. I'd say this is the perfect holster for occasional range time and even some pistol courses but definitely not competition.

I’m an armed officer and carry a 45 single stack while doing Theatre work. The paddle fits a 2” belt and retention is just right. The back plate has a rubberized backing which helps it cling to duty pants. A decent holster for concealed or duty.

I've never been an huge fan of Fobus holsters but this mag pouch works as well as advertised. The magazines are held securely but can be removed easily, The mag pouch has a thin profile which works well for concealed carry. Best of all, the paddle is comfortable to wear all day and doesn't shift around when I move.

I absolutely love it! I wouldn't change a thing in the design or construction of this holster. The magazines sit right on my belt line and do not dig into my side in any way. The are tight enough that I'm secure they won't fall out but I can release the empty mag in the weapon and withdraw a fresh mag without difficulty. I am more pleased than I thought I would be. I plan to order a couple more for friends. Thank you for a superior product.

I have tried numerous different one, and I wish I had found this one first. I would have saved some money. I could not find one that worked well in terms of holding the mags securely (leather or otherwise)..... for thinner single stack mags. This has worked very well, with about every 9mm single stack mag I have put in it. I plan to buy another one and when people have complained about the same issue, recommended this one .... and they have all been very happy with it.
