Dow Corning M-kote DX Paste Grease Lubricant 25g

I purchased this for some occasional clock/watch servicing but for that purpose, this is enough for a couple hundred years. So I decided to try it on my 3D printer instead of the cheap garbage it shipped with and, OMG, what a difference. It cut the sound level in half, no chattering on large surfaces, the first layer goes down so pretty now. It even seems to print faster and probably uses less energy since the motors don't have to work so hard. Yeah, it's expensive, this little jar cost about 10% of what the whole printer cost, but if you already have it, or if money is no object and you want the best American grease for your cheap Chinese printer, Just buy it.

Excellent quality high-pressure grease

When it comes to lubricating a watch, good quality lubricants are essential, but less is definitely more. This little jar is more than I will ever use on even a prodigious amount of watch movements, especially since it is only used on high friction parts, but the price is fantastic. The grease itself is great quality and will stay put to do its job. I now need to find other things to lubricate with it!

Plenty of good Molykote past grease in the little container.

This "watch grease" clogged the mainspring on my old, previously running mantel clock., and it STOPPED! Now, I have to dismantle it and clean it. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Excellent product

Was recommended to me by the manufacturer of my 3D printer. Works very well, and very little is needed. When properly applied, it also does not seem to collect debris like some other greases tend to do. Far, far better than oils for sliding applications. I also used it to lubricate some of the parts in my spring pellet rifle, specifically the parts of the trigger subject to sliding friction. It DRASTICALLY improved the feel of the trigger- sharp, clean break with zero creep.
