3M VHB Adhesive Pads Double-Sided Replacement Mounting Tape 4-Pack

Works great! Having moved dash cameras to new cars, we needed more tape. Adhesion strength quality is wonderful considering we live in the Texas heat (I recommend installing in shade and letting it sit for a couple of hours before attempting to hang anything or apply weight for best results), I had to cut to fit size but that wasn’t a problem. Easy to install, definitely a great price for the quantity.

These adhesive pads worked very well for my Quad-Loc mounts on my car. They are a bit smaller than the quad-Loc mounting plate but I just trimmed the plate to fit the pad, stuck it to the car dash, waited 24 hours for the glue to cure, and it is working perfectly. Five stars for stickability, four stars because it was not the full size of the Quad-Loc mount.

This thing has genuinely impressive sucking power. I was using it to anchor a qi pad into an iPhone dock I printed. Well the charger started coming apart so I was like “well I guess I’ll be leaving that product a review” but then I tried to remove the broken charger. It required a fairly solid lever and all of my strength to remove the sticker. I have confidence that the only way this is going to come off of whatever you stick it to is if the surfaces break first or you employ adhesive remover.

I did a lot of research for what would be the best double sided adhesive tape would be the best, as my standard 3M tape (that I would cut size) would come undone after about 2-3 months. I read that the VHB rated adhesive tape is the best to use for hot heat and for cold weather too. The precut size was absolutely perfect for what I needed. Be sure to read and follow the instructions for “hopefully” better results. East instruction breakdown: Clean surface with included pad. Peal back the brown part and stick on item. Press down for 2 minutes. Then let sit for 2 hours before installing. Clean application area and make sure it’s dry. Then when applying, be sure to hold/press it down for 5 minutes. The instructions say for best adhesion, you should avoid using the device (adding weight) 24 hours. Fingers crossed that I finally found a good option that won’t keep coming loose after a few months.

I would give zero stars terrible item its not heat resistant I bought these to keep my dash cam up on wind shield when I get back in my car the camera is dangling off the windshield with tape residue all over windshield item is useless especially in a hot summer day

Super sticky! My old car phone mount melted off my dash. I ordered these and slapped it back on! Works great for about five years!

Fitted a few days ago. It’s holding fast so far, in various temperatures. 3M branding on the sticky patches, so I can only assume it’s the genuine article!
