Great wide angle lense. I tried a different cheaper lense. Returned it for this purchase. This one has sharp edges. Very little -if any-distortion. Edges look in focus. Great for capturing more of band performance with Ipad still on stage.

This little lens is a wonderful addition to my iOgrapher iPad holder. I am able to use my iPad in very close proximity to the volleyball court while still maintaining a quality video for stats purposes. It is rugged and the end caps do a nice job of protecting the lens when not in use.

Decent quality lens, but somewhat blurry around the edges. I've used this lens twice now on my ipad Air M3 11 inch - to record video of my daughter's basketball games. The ipad is mounted in an iOgrapher Multi Pro Adjustable case on a K & F Concept 64" Camera Tripod. The setup is stable on the courtside floor. The lens mounts well in the clip on attachment for the ipad. The direct field of view is clear enough, but there's blurriness around the edges. I've cleaned the lens with Zeiss wipes and a microfiber cloth, yet there are still areas where the video is not crisp/clear. The lens does offer a wider field of view, though, than the standard ipad camera lens. All that said - this works in a pinch. The competition seems to suffer similar issues with blurriness. You would likely need to spend at least 3 - 4x more money to get a markedly better lens. I didn't expect perfection or high end photography/videography, but I also didn't expect the image to be fuzzy on the periphery.

I received this lens for my casual personal casual photography and videography using my iPhone Xs Max. I am surprised it has gone 10 up over my expectations. I fully recommend this to everyone who is trying to do more with just plain shooting with the iPhone. Obviously it will drop a bit of the picture quality versus any prime lens SLRs or straight off digital cameras, but that's OK since I am only using it to endorse events surrounding me more. In fact, after experimenting it, I will step up and get the their filmmaking case too so that I can use it with my iPad Mini, particularly now that the Mini 5 is a powerful machine now.

I had this exact lens that was purchased over a year ago that worked great on my IPad with the film case from the same brand. Nice wide angle view and was exactly was I needed. The original was stolen out of my film bag I have since purchased TWO new lenses and NEITHER give the wide angle view as advertised. Quality is poor as one broke as soon as I opened it and the other serves zero purpose except to waste my money and time.

A few months ago, I purchase an iOgrapher iPad case and attempted to use a clip-on angle widener lens. The only problem was it wouldn't fit on the case correctly. So deciding to try again, I ran across this lens and I've been super please with is being able to easily screw on and not worry about the outcome of my videos. It came right on time for a basketball game day and it's simply amazing. I highly recommend this product to any and everyone.

The price point was great. The packaging is simple. I have two iographers. One is a mini and one is the 10.5 pro. The mini already has threading for the placement of the 37mm. Fit fine and works nicely. When I put it on my 10.5 iographer, I had to use the lens clip. At first I was irritated. When recording, it looked like vignettes were present. Ugh! Fortunately, during playback, it was clear. Yay! I used it for the first time during practice. I was presently surprised. Easy to use, wide angle of the floor, and clear. Way to go! First tournament this weekend, so I'll really be able to put it to the test.
