Repair Kit Parts Replacement for Charbroil Performance

These replacement parts fit perfectly in my grill making it look and function like new. Make sure you measure your old tubes and covers for length as illustrated in the product photos. If they are the same, they will fit exactly as the old parts. The new parts are well built and provide for a stable flame and heat function. The new cotter pins provided could have been a bit larger but they do their job of securing everything in place. I opted for the 304 stainless steel for added durability. Very easy install. Hardest part was cleaning the inside of the grill before I installed the new parts. My choice to do this as I could not allow myself to leave the grill body dirty when installing the new parts. Overall great product, great price, highly recommend.

Easy assembly, everything fit like glove.

I had been planning on buying a new grill for a while now because my burners were completely rusted and falling apart. I saw these replacements as an option and thought I would give it a try for $30 if it could save me $500 on a new grill. These worked out amazing. Apparently there are 2 types of installations (need on your grill type) and it comes with the parts for both. You just need to figure out if you're grill needs screws or clips. Either way, it was super easy to install. I didn't know what I was doing for the first burner but after I figured it out, the rest were cake. The entire install took me approximately 25min but now that I know how easy it is, I could probably do it in like 15 the next time. The new burners feen nice and have a good weight to them. They fit perfectly into the grills slots and I didn't have to force anything into place. The new flames come out clean through all the holes with no issues. Since I just installed them, I don't know about longevity yet but if they rust and break down within a year I'll come back and update, however, by the feel of them, they should last a while.

Was easy to replace. Took about 10 minutes. All the replacement parts fit correctly. Instructions were a little vague. But was able to assemble. Real test is how long will it last. My last replacement parts lasted about 18 months. But still cheaper than buying another grill. As the original burners only lasted about 2 years. This Replacement kit seems to be a better quality.

This was a nice kit to rebuild the burners on my charbroil 4 burner grill. My old burners had finally decided to go after years of usage. This kit has everything you need to redo your aging grill. I was contemplating buying a new grill and i found these. They worked first try, no problem at all. Easy to set up, and will get you back to cooking steaks and burgers in no time. It took me maybe 30 minutes to get it all installed and back up to where i could grill again. Only real negative i have to say is the R Key/Hitch Pin whatever you call it were really small for the back of the grill where the tubes mount. The factory OEM ones are larger and way easier to install than the tiny ones in the kit. Company really needs to put larger ones in the kit. The tiny ones were a bit of a hassle, but they will go on if you're patient and take time.

So the CharBroil grill after 2+ years was just getting literally burnt out. The grill grates being thick stainless were fine if somewhat dirty, but the carryover tubes, and heat shields were literally falling apart and the burners were not far behind. The carryover tubes had collapsed and only 2 of the 4 burners would light, not so good... First a note: Amazon puts up a large disclaimer stating "We're not sure this item fits your: CHARBROIL 463342119" when I entered my model # Even though the description has my model # listed TWO OR THREE TIMES. Amazon needs to correct this error. This kit includes 4 new burners, 4 heat shields and 3 adjustable carryover tubes. THEY WERE ALL EXACT FITS. It even included the igniter wires, which is good because mine was literally rusted onto the burner tube. I only used two of the new burners, I had two that were still serviceable. I have only two items to point out. First, the Cotter Pins used to anchor the burner tubes and carryover tubes are too small. You can get them on but it's a PITA and I scratched my thumb trying to hold one open. The original pins (and I saved 4) were larger. Second, the crimp in the igniter wire was a little too tight. I just used a screwdriver to open the crimp a little and it slid right onto the connector. That's it. After cleaning the rest of the grill and putting these replacements on, it lights right up and the flames are a nice blue with no yellowing which indicates a dirty flame. The only remaining question is how long will these last? We use the grill quite often, twice a week on average, but we will see. VERY GOOD OVERALL. I'll buy one again when these burn / rust out. The pieces, even though they are stainless take a LOT of heat and will eventually burn out.

Ordered for a Char-Broil -4 burner - number 463347017 that I purchased in 2017 for $180 from Lowes. The burners and heat tents were getting pretty hard to clean after 5 years but would have worked for a couple more seasons the only real problem was the 3 original carry over tubes were rusting apart and not always properly transmitting the flame from burner to burner on light up. I was going to order original mfg replacements from Char Grill or Grill Parts but they were about $30 plus tax & shipping. I took a gamble and ordered this complete rebuild kit from Amazon Prime for $46.00. Installed today. Fit perfectly took only about 15 min. I’d already completely cleaned the grill a couple days ago. That’s when I discovered the carry over tubes were shot. The only problems I encountered, as mentioned by others before was: there are 8 spring clips that hold various parts in place. The 4 larger ones included do fit to hold the crossover tubes in place, but the smaller ones included do not fit the upright supports against the back of the grill that hold the burners in place unless you pry them open more than designed. Luckily I had been able to save these from the old grill, so if possible don’t throw those old ones away. The second issue was that the new igniter that is supposed to snap into grooves pressed into the bottom of the #2 burnerwdidn't pop in immediately and I had to fuss around prying the little clip fingers with a small screwdriver and pop it on with a channel lock. Wasn't very hard though and the send you a second new igniter in case you're replacing the one that lights the seperate side burner. As with all new grill rebuilds you should do a “no food on” burn trial to test and cook off any oily residue from the mfg process. I noticed that the new adjustable carry over tubes were glowing cherry red after just 20 minutes of a wide open full on four burner test. Nothing else looked to be getting that hot or metal stressed. The temp gauge was showing over 550 so that was well above my normal cooking test and I probably should haven't been that aggressive. Now I see why these tubes rusted away before everything else. All in all this was a great deal. Refurbished my grill for cheap and all the metal parts were heavy duty, not flimsy or poorly manufactured. I’d buy this again if the grill’s still otherwise working in 5 years.

Arrived quickly Was easy to install with good detailed instructions. Saving me the cost of a new grill. I would highly recommend this set.
