Fantastic light, unbelievable value, a real household essential
These lights are really bright and really robust. Very well made, heavy duty plastic body and handle / stand. They throw out an incredible amount of light for such a small, lightweight unit. Very handy for working (or looking for stuff) in dark corners, under cupboards etc. The folding handle / stand is very useful, allows the unit to stand up on its own while you have both hands free to do whatever you're doing. Much better than torch rolling around, these lights stay where you put them. They come with two large rechargeable batteries inside, which run for ages. Charge from any USB socket, through the supplied lead. If you're not near a charger, you can bung in 4 x regular (or rechargeable) AA batteries to see you through. I keep these to hand round the house for DIY jobs in shady corners, and also in case of power cuts. They would be very useful for camping, too. Highly recommended - I wouldn't be without them.

Excellent, solid, very bright, and uses common 18650 or AA cells
I wanted a compact work light with good light output - this certainly fits the bill for those requirements! I also prefer ones that use easily-replaceable common batteries rather than having a non-user-replaceable battery, just for longevity purposes - once the cells start losing capacity and going flat quicker, it's trivial to throw in a new pair of easily-obtained 18650 cells and carry on using the device, rather than either binning it (as a lot of consumer electronics seems to be designed for today) or opening it up, unsoldering whatever battery pack it uses and attempting to source a suitable replacement. This device's cunning battery bay can take the two rechargeable 18650s supplied (and can charge them for you via USB, too), or can take 4AAs - not an option I've used, but it's nice to have the choice, if you need it working and your 18650s have gone flat and you have no spares, you're more likely to have spare AAs (or be able to buy them pretty much anywhere). I've used this while painting for an hour or so at a time a few times to provide extra illumination and also to provide light outside while washing the brushes up - it was bright enough to light up the whole area up really well. It got splashed from the sink while I was washing the brushes and shrugged it off; I haven't tried dunking it in water though. It's going to be really useful for camping, as the light output for its size is excellent, and the built in USB power bank feature is a nice touch too. It also feels robust enough to be useful for extra light when working on the car. Definitely happy to recommend this unit.

Good product bought 2
bought 2 of these for the allotment in winter so i can continue outside working when the nights get earlier, i have found they are quite easily charged and handy to carry around, their brightness claim is a bit overplayed they are bright yes but they are enough to see not as exaggerated as they make them out to be, for instance we tried to lighten up a dark corridor in a cellar stairway and it barely even lit the stairs with nothing to reflect off where a flash light would have lit up the area, not sure why the need to put a power out feature when the device has limited power as it is, they are easy to charge and its handy to have an intergrated charge circuit, however i will mention to watch the tips of the chargeleads as one set frayed within a week

A superior product at a bargain price.
Wow! Now where do I start? I am very fussy. I am an AV installer and over the years have tried many different types of torches and lanterns.. rechargeable and not. This has replaced a tube type 'power beam' rechargeable 80 LED work light of which I had two. This is far superior with it's brightness and it's spread of light. It's very compact but please don't let that fool you. Why have something larger when something smaller works just the same! No one wants to carry around larger equipment if it can be avoided. I have to connect up complex bits of AV and networking equipment including terminating patch panels sometimes where there is very poor lighting and very little space. This little lamp is a God send! It's well made, has a little adjustable flip stand, light dispersion is wide at a close distance, it's rechargeable from USB and you can also replace the batteries with standard AA should you need to.. oh and the price is amazing. I will be purchasing more of these! Very highly recommended. Superb product. I have to give praise to the designer and manufacturer. Well done!

Super bright, good value light.
This is a great little light. It has a posable handle, which can be used to stand it up or hang it by. The batteries it comes with take a while to charge but it will take 4 AA batteries if needed in an emergency. Fully charged the batteries lasted well over night left on full. And for intermittent use will last a good long while. The batteries can be charged in the lamp or in the charger that is supplied. The lamp also has a USB port which can be used to charge USB devices. The lamp itself is made of plastic but feels quite robust, we're taking it camping I have no doubt it will survive any day to day knocks. Quite happy with this purchase, definitely worth the 11 quid paid.

Excellent
Very difficult to fault this unit although I do believe some people might be a little surprised at how small it is. I have slightly larger than average hands for a man and it barely covers more area than my hand with outstretched fingers. It does however have quite a punch when it comes to brightness. It is seriously bright for it's size and easily bright enough to carry out the range of chores the seller suggests e.g. changing a car tyre or illuminating a small camp site. Perhaps not quite enough to light an entire garden shed as it doesn't have a very wide angle of light dispersion but in fairness they don't claim it does. I'm very pleased with my purchase which was for using as a work light when I'm doing DIY jobs in dark areas. NB - As it's an LED light and LED's use so little power - the two very chunky rechargeable batteries it comes should last a very long time before recharging and th clever people that designed this (10/10 for design) give you the option to use 4 x AA batteries as an alternative.

Perfect pocket torch/work light
This lamp is absolutely brilliant (sorry!). I bought one along with a couple other similar products because I couldn't make up my mind, and I've just ordered another three of these. They're small. They're light. They fit in the palm of your hand (if you've got big hands too). They fit in your pocket. It's a good light for wherever you need to work in the dark. I've used it for several hours on one charge already, where the others I was evaluating gave up (it turns out they had only one cell, in spite of claiming to be twice the power and the same burn time). This takes two rechargable "vaping" batteries (supplied), or you can fit 4xAAA if you need to keep going all night and that's all you have. I've called it a torch/work light because it can be carried and used as a torch when required. However, note that it does't have a focused beam - the light is wide-angle. If you want a search-light get something with a parabolic reflector; this is close-up task lighting. The stand is a simple loop that "clicks" to all angles and allows you to point the light where you want it. Other lights have complex bracket arrangements that are more of a fuss to use. Although I haven't dropped it from a great distance on to concrete, it gives every impression it'd bounce. This is down to its solid feel, rubber armour and the fact it's very light in weight. The only annoyance is that it switches to strobe mode as the last position when you turn it off. This is common with all sorts of push-button bike lights etc - in my view they should go straight to off if they've been on in one mode for 10 seconds or so. But as that's down to the maker of the IC, and they're all like that, I'm leaving this a 5*. I almost NEVER give anything a 5* review.

An Ok Lamp
I have a couple of products from this company so I was expecting good things from this little lightweight COB light. It arrived promptly and well packed and I was eager to try it out in the garden after dark when I let my dog out. Firstly I was a bit disappointed with the brightness, being billed as being 30W it immediately struck me that it couldn't possibly be, maybe 10 or 15, maybe even 20 at a pinch if I was being generous. I already have another floodlight from this company which also claims to be 30W and I would think that is probably nearer the truth, if that model was still being made then I would have bought that one instead. To be fair though that one is considerably larger and heavier than this little light which I'm reviewing now so maybe I'm being a little unjust. It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be but has two COB lights which do cast a fairly reasonable, if not great light in front of it. It is still bright enough for me to see where my dog is so it's not all bad news. Charging is quick and simple using the usual methods with the supplied USB Micro cable. It is very lightweight and has a multi positional handle which doubles up as a kickstand. Would I buy another? Probably not this one, maybe one that was 35-50W or more. This one just isn't quite as bright as I expected it to be, it's not bad, but could be better.

Efficace
