Kaiser 205411 Copy Stand RS 2-XA

Very sturdy copy stand that I am using to hold my Nikon D850 for use with either the ES-2 adapter or Lomography Digitaliza. The adjustments have been smooth and I feel that the camera is very secure on it so it gets my full recommendation.

Sturdy and easy to assemble

The copy stand was shipped in what appears to be the manufacturer’s box, but the seam across the length of the box was unsealed and I could easily reach in without undoing the staples or straps. The bolt that secures the riser to the base was in the riser, but not secured. When the riser was lifted from the box, the bolt fell out and onto the base, leaving a divot on the surface of the base. There appears to be a slot for the bolt in the styrofoam packaging, so unclear why the bolt wasn’t secured there.

Earlier, I should have bought this quality product instead of the cheaper alternative, which went to the landfill. It holds my camera tightly and securely at the proper angle, and the height adjustment mechanism is smooth. Thanks Kaiser!

looked over several brands of copy stands before deciding on this one. It works fine with no problems. I'm sure it would have been better if I were to have gotten one with 2 lights. However, it is no problem to just go out and buy 2 adjustable lights to use and alot less cost.

Biggest annoyance is I had to shim the camera at it's base to get it square to the base of the stand in the forward / backward axis. Mfg. provides no means to do otherwise. Also, while acceptably rigid, it has a plasticy feel and the gear mechanism is tight, making fine up-down adjustments unnecessarily painful. For the money, I expected more and the extra effort to correct issues is not appreciated

This copy stand has"grid marks" on the stand to help focus your camera on the object being photographed. Great for taking close-up photos of jewellery, coins etc...

Uso com uma Fujifim X-T5 com a lente 80 mm macro sobretudo para fazer scanning de negativos e suporta perfeita emnte o peso. A construção é boa robusta com bons acabamentos.

Ideal für die Digitalisierung von Bildern und Diapositiven. Ich mach dies mit einer Sony nex5 (Manuelle Belichtung, kleine Blendenöffnung, Fernauslöser) und dem Sony Objektiv E 3.5/30 Macro auf improvisiertem Leuchttisch. Dabei ist ein guter Weiisabgleich wichtig. Klappt gut. Lieferfrist war etwas lang, ca. 6 Wochen, wenn ich mich richtig erinnere. Preis ist nicht niedrig, aber gerechtfertigt, da präzis und stabil gefertigt.
