Fantastic printer!
I bought this Epson picturemate for the sole purpose of using it as a Photo Booth printer and my final verdict... it was fantastic! first off the bat was the quick and ease of printing my photos from my laptop (mac ver. 10.10.2) it took mere secs to complete and very nice photo turn out. The printer itself was lunch-box like yet simple. Although I have not navigated through the menus just yet. It definitely does print a 4x6 without borders but I think you can also adjust that through the computer preferences. The stock ink that came with the did run out rarely quickly but I ended up buying the epson T5846 (which was recommended via reviews and forums that I have come across) and so far it went well manage to print at least 50 photos and still going well. A little note that I did come across when I used the ink that came with the printer was after a few prints, the epson needed maintenance (was very easy to do) and then the notice of low ink, although I managed to print a few more photos until the printer said that I needed to replace it because it did not allow me to print any more. Overall, I think it was worth the buy and very impressed considering other printers out there that stack up to $500+ this one worked well.

BUY IT NOW!
This is a great little printer! It prints pretty quickly, but the quality of the image on the paper is fantastic! There are a few issues with the printer which are an annoyance. Whenever I insert my SD card, it never starts from the beginning of photos - always from the middle. The printer did not come with the printer cable, but you can order one extremely cheap. I really wish you buy the ink cartridge separately without a stack of photo paper. These may be minor complaints, but I still love this printer and highly recommend it to anyone.

Excellent Printer
This compact printer is incredible. Setup is fast and easy with clear instructions. Prints excellent photos quickly from the computer (with USB cable). Regarding the complaints that the ink cartridge runs out before the included photo paper has all been used, if you print a lot of photos all in a day, the ink cartridge actually lasts well beyond the amount of photo paper that comes with it. I used Espon photo paper I already had and printed many more photos on one cartridge. You can continue to print past several warnings to "replace photo cartridge now." I know this technique won't work for some people, but believe that printing a lot of photos at once avoids the problem of the cartridge sitting for long periods of time and then wasting a lot of ink on head cleaning. I have an Epson Work Force 7520 printer which I printed all my photos until it no longer would properly feed the photo paper. This PictureMate is actually quicker, the quality of the prints is better, and it's more efficient to use.

I love the print quality and speed
Wanted to give 5 stars but I bought two of these printers. I love the print quality and speed. However the second printer I bought I am returning because it would not recognize any cartridges. Also, the only other downfall is purchasing the ink you have to purchase ink and paper together. It's pricey and you don't get many prints with the ink. You will end up with hundreds and hundreds of extra photo paper. It is Christmas time I guess you can give it away as gifts. :c)

Very disappointed because it was so cute and the prints
CUTE, BUT FAULTY... I had this one day. Did not make it through the entire pack of paper and it started acting up. It has no support tray for the exiting print and therefore, it starts shifting back and forth, along with the movement of the print head and makes about the last 2 inches of the print all distorted. Calling tech support as I type this. I plan to send back for a full refund and try another brand. Very disappointed because it was so cute and the prints, when it first worked in the first 6 or 8 images, were very color perfect! Tech support was of no help in resolving the issue, but will replace with another unit, but will not guarantee that it will be a new unit. It may be a refurb. My first experience with Epson since the 90's and perhaps my last.

Epson makes it hard to consume their consumables
I figured I'd be able to print from my Samsung Galaxy s4 directly via USB. I couldn't. I figured I could print via bluetooth -- but the reviews of the bluetooth adapter have scared me away. I want to burn through ink and paper and epson has made that difficult. Might be a good printer if picture quality is more important than ease of use. Search your app store for this printer's model before purchasing...

Great printer for the scrapbooker or Project Lifer!
I love this printer! It prints true 4x6 high quality borderless prints. I had the Selphy and didn't like that it didn't print true 4x6 prints. So I invested in this printer and boy am I glad I did. You can print from a sd card, cf card and your computer. Those are the only three ways I use it to print although there are a couple of other ways you can print from it. The downside is that it is not compatible to print wirelessly from your Apple products. You can get a Bluetooth adapter to print wirelessly from android phones. The ink is a little pricey but in the end I feel like I am getting my money's worth. You will need to get a printer cable but other than that, you will get everything to get a few prints straight out of the box. Make sure you order a new ink cartridge when you order the printer or you will be disappointed that you didn't when you see the quality of the pictures.

Terrific printer with limited capabilities.
Terrific little photo printer. I print from my computer, and occasionally have to re-format my photos to adapt to the 4x6 parameters of the machine. Only occasionally is that a problem. I do, however, wish it were possible to purchase the ink cartridges separately from the photo paper. In the first Epson 200 print pack I'v used I ran out of paper before the ink was exhausted. Many reviewers complained of just the opposite. I've found if even 1 or 2 photos are printed every couple of days, the clearing of clogged nozzles is not required. I believe this is the cause of much wasted ink. All in all it's a great printer even with it's limited capabilities.

It prints beautiful pictures. I was worried that if left sitting ...
Works as advertised. It prints beautiful pictures. I was worried that if left sitting for awhile the ink would dry out and you would need to print a few pictures to get the colours right, but after not printing a picture for a month, the next one was perfect. If you are in Canada, this is the Picturemate Charm to buy. There seems to be other ones with the same model number for a higher price, but this one doesn't seem to have anything lacking.
