Bbox Dual 10 Inch Subwoofer Box - Sealed Carpeted Subwoofer Enclosure - Fits 2002-2018 Dodge Ram Quad Cab - Subwoofer Box for 10 Inch Subwoofers - Car Subwoofer Boxes & Enclosures - Pro Audio Tuned

I installed this enclosure in a 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab Laramie Power Wagon. I was worried about having to use seat spacers to use this box but that was not the case. You DO NOT need seat spacers in a 4th Gen Ram Quad/Crew cab. You can verify this by checking the box dimensions, 32.5: wide, 13.5" deep, and 2.5" tall. This box fit very neatly under the passenger seat. I did have to remove my factory fold out storage deck on the passenger side and will most likely put my driver side back in to make it that much harder for anyone trying to get at the amplifier. My interior is piano black and this matches well but not perfectly. The pictures don't show the coloring as well as I had hoped. The box is slightly lighter but is a good compliment to the interior. I installed a Kicker CompRT 12" 2 ohm DVC sub and it fit perfectly in this box with no trimming or shaving the interior. I soldered the speaker wires to the terminal connections on the box as crimp connections are kinda iffy and there is not a lot of room once you install the terminal back into the box. You will need to pull it and seal this area to make it air tight so have a small tube of silicone ready when you are installing this. The speaker is wired to 1 ohm. I am driving this sub with a Kicker CX400.1 amplifier which came factory rated for 525 Watts RMS at 1 Ohm which is perfect for this sub. I placed this under the driver side rear seat. Pay attention to where the amplifier sits as the bottom of the seat will make contact with the amp when seated. I miscalculated the measurement and the edge of the bottom makes slight contact with the amplifier. My only real concern is that the amp will not dissipate heat in that area as well now. Other than that the amplifier fits nicely and i have good access to the adjustments panel. Next, I installed the Kicker GR120 speaker grill as the sub would be muted from the bottom of the seat and potentially be damaged when a bigger person sits in that seat. The grill is plastic so I will have to wait and see if a sturdier metal grill is needed. I used a Rockford Fosgate RFI2SW to grab the door speakers from the rear to get the HI signal. I tried the factory subwoofer speaker connections but they are not full range and gave low performance on the sub. You will need to pull the B pillar covers off to access those rear door speakers. The speaker wires were twisted pairs with the following colors: LRSPKR + GRY/LTGRN LRSPKR - GRY/DKGRN RRSPKR + DKGRN/LTGRN RRSPKR - DKGRN/GRY I found another set of twisted wires in the bundle and pulled the door panel off to verify these were correct. I believe these other wires were to the LED's in the door trim but don't quote me on that as I just glanced to be sure I had the correct speaker wires. The Kicker CX400.1 does not require an LOC (Line output Converter) and uses DC Offset for the rmote turn on so you don't need to run a separate wire. This is part of the new FIT+ technology they have in the amps. Just double check that your amp has the same tech in it but just about any new Kicker amp will have FIT in it. This made for a VERY clean install. One thing to note is that I did solder the door speaker wires to the high level RCA input plugs and put a bit of heat shrink on them for protection. If you pull the door harness plug while you are in the B pillar it will give you a bit more range of motion on the wires as they are very tight. The soldered joint should keep me from having to pull the B pillars again in case of a failed connection. I ran the Kicker CXARC bass control back to the front and used some 3M double sided tape to place it under the dash cubby and give it a clean factory look. I'm not a fan of drilling and wanted the interior to look as factory as possible. Also, I recessed it a bit to keep prying eyes from detecting it from a window. No sense in having someone smash your window and try to steal your system. The enclosure is not bolted down as I wanted to be able to remove it easily. Now for the sound. This speaker/sub combination is absolutely amazing! It's not gonna win a competition but the bass is way from this sub and enclosure is more than I was hoping for. It absolutely hits hard and carries very nicely from the factory radio which is the uConnect 8.4" with the 9 speaker Alpine system. the headunit has very minimal equalizer controls (honestly Dodge needs to step it up) and only has bass.mid/treble controls. I adjusted most of the bass out of it and let the Kicker do its work alone. Highs are not as crisp as I would want so those dash speakers will have to go at some point. The front and rear door speakers do a nice job carrying their weight and overall this system really hits. I listen to everything from Upchurch to Bhad Bhabie and they all sound amazing. Definitely get the bass remote or you will notice clipping from one style of music to the next and for those days you just want to chill in a quieter ride. Kicker recommends low to medium volume with low gain for at least two hours a day for the first two weeks to get it broke in. This will allow the woofer to last a lot longer. Overall, this is a great product and really good combo! Do your research and buy stuff that will last!

This is an excellent box for a Kicker CompR CWR104 (43CWR104) in a 2013 RAM 1500 Crew Cab. I have the full-bench seat and do not have the fold-out flat floor, so I will be basing my review off of this setup. I'm powering the sub with a Kicker CXA300.1 (43CXA3001) amp that I mounted to the passenger side back wall of the cab and it sounds fantastic. The sub calls for a minimum sealed enclosure size of .8 cu. ft. and this box provides .85 cu. ft., so it is just barely enough but it comes with poly-fil already stapled in to make the sub think it's in a larger box. I chose this passenger-side-only box because I actually use the drivers side compartment pretty frequently, so this box gives me the best of both worlds. It also leaves plenty of room to still use the rear cup holders, which is what I was looking for. I'm very impressed with the quality of the box for the price and have not noticed any air leaks due to a bad seal. The carpet is nicely installed and looks very professional. I had already done the rear-seat-fold-down mod by using spacers to lift the bench seat roughly an inch, but the carpet on the bottom of the seat still rests on the outer ring of the sub (notice in my pictures the outline of the sub in the carpet of the bottom of the seat). The box does come with two carpeted spacers to install on either side of the sub for this reason, but I have ordered a GS Power 10" Bar Grill (also from Amazon) instead because it will provide much more protection than the included spacers. The terminal cup is kind of located in a bad spot though, because there is not much space behind it once it is screwed in. The product description says it is best to solder the speaker wire to the inside of the terminal tabs, and I would definitely agree with that. I tried using quick disconnects, but they pulled out fairly easily because of the angle I had to bend the tabs for everything to fit once screwed in. I soldered the wires to the tabs instead for a much more reliable connection. Overall, I am highly satisfied with this box, especially for the affordable price versus other pre-made boxes or building a DIY fiberglass enclosure. I highly recommend it for 4th Gen (2009-2017) RAM Crew Cab and Quad Cab pickups. Bonus: Using Amazon Prime's free 2 day shipping method, the box was delivered in only 23 hours after being shipped. An incredible shipping speed rate for a product of this size and weight!

Package arrived beat up, upon unboxing I found that it was in tact. FOR THOSE CONCERNED...I punched all the buttons to order a dual 10" sealed box. The title said 12" after clicking all the right buttons, I went with it, and at dual 10" sealed box arrived. It is NOT pre wired inside. I will have to unscrew the terminals to add speaker wire for inside the box because it is way too tight to get your hand in there to feed the wire to the terminal. Maybe a 9 month old could get their hand there?? Also the box is not separated, there is NO partition. My subs will share air space via a very small passage. I pushed a tape measure all the way through to see and sure enough it came out the other speaker cutout unimpeded. I will update this once it is working and under power. It will house 2 JL Audio 10" subs. But the box is in tact and does not appear as though it will fall apart. I have the very same brand single 12" sealed box already for several years, it has not fallen apart. Again, I will update with more observations at a later date. 2nd Update: Installed in truck, fit perfectly. No need to alter or remove carpet, I can slide my hand between the speak and the bottom of the seat. The subwoofers sound amazing. 2 JL Audio 10's powered by Kicker 800.1. Working out very well. I am happy.

Looks nice, but not sealed. Slightly pushing the sub gives you lots of audible leaks on the far side of the box. Due to the only 1" or so clearance there you can't even seal them yourself. Well maybe if I strip off the carpet and take the box apart. But why not just make your own at that point. It was dirt cheap, but the old saying if something seems to good to be true it probably is comes into play here. Disappointed. EDIT: I've been using this for 10 months or so now and it is fantastic. True it's not sealed as well as it should be, but it's not having much effect on the bass. It's minor and as I've heard before the 'flawless' seal isn't that big of a deal (not like it has holes in it or anything). My old school NIB Polk DB10 (the 90's USA made stuff) fit perfectly and absolutely pounds in the 40-60hz range that I use it in (CDT Audio 6x9 CF "Subs" in doors pick up the 60-110 range). I'm sending 300w at 4ohms to the sub. Really great, tight bass. It also looks great. What did I learn? Before bitching about something I should try it and see how well it works, and this works great. For those having issues I recommend tuning a bit or making sure the amp/sub etc is all correctly set. This is an impressive dirt cheap box. Also, Amazon says it won't fit my 2014 Ram. It fits perfectly! For those with newer body style Rams don't be afraid to buy.

Fits great and sounds good

Enclosure fairly well built could of used some sealant on the corners of the interior of the box but I understand with the box dimensions that would of been a very difficult task. It's a great fit I had to shave a little off the edge to fit the sub in but no issue. Been using this box for the past 2-3 weeks it's doing its job and fit nicely I wish the BBOX logo was facing a different direction. But thats nit picking otherwise I'm happy with this box and plan on continuing further use with bbox

Update after removing the carpet held on by a few drop of glue found nothing is sealed giant gaps in wood and a massive crack on top and bottom they tried to hide it is chinese garbage. Look at the light pouring in not only are cuts amature but only 20 percent of box is sealed. Unless your looking to finish the job this might not be the box for you... Hole was not round so had to cut part of it out, carpet in about 4 places coming up already and have not even used it yet. Some of the inside is glued and some is not. Not cool mistakes happen instead of just returning it I got a full mail box and phone hung up...eeew. guess have too many complaints to handle .... He I tried to talk to you before leaving this bad review but was unable hopefully this will catch your attention. Shame could be a good product if people making them cared. Not hard to properly tack carbet and glue planks unless you take shortcuts or use garbage material. Can't even roll on glue for carpet.

I got this box for my 2011 dodge ram quad cab, it fits perfect but i had a hard time finding a decent sub that would fit and sound OK, i ended up having to bevel the inside edges to get really any sub to fit and due to limited air space and the sealed design its hard to find a good Sub I tried the JBL 1000w 12 it fit fine and sounded ok then i tried the pioneer champion 12 witch also fit and had about the same sound has the JBL i ended up trying the alpine type S witch does need more air space but was happy with the sound. I gave the box 3 stars not because the fitment issues with subs i knew that going into it but because of the poor quality terminal on the back of the box, when i first set it up there was a big air leak and i found it coming from the terminal so i took it off and put silicon around the hole and sealed it down then later wen to test and still have the air leak. come to find out that the air was coming straight thru the terminal so i pulled it and covered the entire back of the terminal in silicon and resealed it and that finally stopped the leak

This subwoofer box is awesome, I put it in my 2005 ram, and it fit perfectly, build quality is amazing, and it sounds super good, would definitely recommend to others.
