**Q: The last set of these speakers I purchased had 100 ft.of sealed 16 gage wire included, do these?**
A: The set I purchased did not come with any wire.

**Q: im really new to this speaker thing can someone give me a break down on how they work and what materials ill need to play music from my iphone.**
A: There may be other ways of doing it but here is how I use mine, including from an iPod:You typically need a stereo receiver/tuner. I got a used one off of eBay. The one I got is a simple 2:1 which means 2 speakers to one tuner. A 5:1 would be 5 speakers into 1 tuner. You would use speaker wire to connect the rock speakers to the back of the tuner. I used heat wrap connectors to connect the speaker wires to the speakers as mine are used out doors and the heat wrap connectors seal out the water. Also just FYI if you want to use the tuner to play like an FM radio station you will need an antena. This also would plug into the back of the receiver/tuner. To use your iPod you will need an RCA to single male adapter. The RCA cord usually has a red and white cable this will then go into a single male side that will go into your iPod. The RCA red and white will then plug into the back of the tuner. It usually doesn't matter where. For instance I have mine plugged into the CD plugs. I then use the I put dial to put it to CD and my iPod then plays through it just fine. There may also be ways to go wireless if you wish. But the above way is how I have booked mine up. I have it this way outside by my pond and again in my garage. Just regular speakers in the garage though. I have enjoyed the rock speakers. The suit my purposes. Hope this helps. Good luck!

A: 1 pair or 2 speakers

**Q: I bought these speakers in May and now they do not work. Is there any warranty on them?**
A: Check to see if they filled up with water.
Mine came sealed on the bottom so if they got wet the water would just keep filling up the housing until the speaker inside was in water.  That would be the end of it.
I drilled drain holes in mine to prevent "outdoor" speakers from becoming water logged.
Stupid design.
It's called built in obsolescence.

I live in Central Florida, where it rains HARD, every day during the summer months. I have these in the backyard, near my pool. Their sound quality (alone) lacks decent bass, but in conjunction with two other speakers that I have under the patio cover, the overall sound is very nice. (my other speakers put out alot of bass) They have performed perfectly, even in a harsh down pour, for nearly a year now, and look even better after "ageing" in the harsh sunlight. They are NOT bluetooth capable, so you will have to run wire to each speaker.(I ran pvc conduit and pulled wire to each location) On a side note, when I first purchased these, one had a "flaw" and didn't work properly, but the seller was very quick in sending a replacement. Good customer support! NOW, if you want to use these, and want bluetooth capability, just make sure the "receiver" amp you are using has a bluetooth receiver built in, and then you can use a tablet, or smartphone to play music over your yard. I’ve had the 4” version of the same brand for 8-9 years in the harsh Palm Springs sun. (They still work) I decided to update my sound in the back yard. 8” add a nice amount of bass to the music. It’s not like DJ quality bass but it’s enough that I can drown out my neighbors vrbo who is getting annoying with their loud music. Mine is now louder and also annoying I’m sure.
