I've used Tide Pods for about two months after switching from liquid detergent to the convenience of these things. I tried the Spring Meadow, but after a month, I wanted some other smell. A few weeks ago, when I was doing the laundry, our family had bought the Downy April Fresh beads. Curious as to what this would do, I put a cup in the bottom with some liquid detergent. Forty minutes later when I opened the washer, my nose was blessed with possibly the best smell I had ever smelled in my entire life. After going through the dryer, my clothes still smelled like fresh flowers--just like the effect Tide Pods had on the scents of my laundry. Even weeks later, articles of clothing I haven't worn yet still smell like that heavenly load of laundry I did. I needed that long-lasting effect again, but for more clothes! Yet I couldn't bear to part with my Tide pods. And then I came across this. I was amazed. In shock. Enraptured. I bought it in literally one second. Low and behold, the same magical effect happened on my clothes when I popped 2 of these suckers into a large load and it was absolute bliss. The best aroma ever, sticking to my clothes throughout the harsh January rain and days of wearing my same jacket. My clothes even feel softer, and I haven't touched dryer sheets! I'm still disheartened that they only sell 61 pods in these for the same price as the 81 count. But like someone else said, I'm sure it's the result of adding Downy--this stuff is worth it! It's tear-jerking just how amazing these things are! I cannot urge you enough to buy this stuff, please please please. It would be a disservice to your garments to not!

If you know, you know. Nothing cleans better than Tide. While it may be a little more expensive than some other brands, if you (like me) have skin problems and sensitive skin, and don't want to chance bargain brands, Tide is always the way to go. With Tide you always know that the quality is worth the few extra pennies per load, and this particular one w/Downy scent is really good. It kind of freaked me out at first while I was expecting Tide scent (guess I should have read the description, huh?) I was pleasantly surprised. I love both scents and love how clean my clothes were and how soft they were and how great they smell.

OKAY after reading a few reviews about getting the product where it breaks or sticks together made me a little apprehensive however my order came perfect and it smells awesome. Because of some of the reviews I read I immediately opened to check as a precaution BUT no the packets did not stick in fact they seemed very fresh as if this was a recent batch manufactured. Other concern is about worries that the plastic does not dissolve completely? so as other wrote maybe it best to use extra rinse cycle or if you are really worried put the pod into some hott water to pre dissolve and then pour that out into your washing machine so as to not worry about undissolved plastic. I like the fact that the detergent is pre measured so now worries about putting in too much or wasting detergent.

Ok, this is MY VERY FIRST TIME trying PODS. (Yes I know I'm a little late in the game). I have to say I LOVE THEM! I was normally a tide liquid user and I usually, well I am one who likes to put in MORE SOAP. That was not real cost effective when I was getting 10 loads out of a jug of detergent. LOL These have me IN CONTROL, like being on a laundry detergent diet! LOL The laundry comes out smelling GREAT with just one, (My only complaint is, its doesn't smell exactly like the tide with the downy liquid which has a MUCH better scent) and oddly, MUCH CLEANER than with liquid det. I don't know the how or why of that powerful little pod, but I had some things that just were NOT getting all the way clean, and they are now! Now I have not tried these in a cold water wash but once and did have to shake a little white stuff /flakes off a few things, but they fell right off. WIth hot water, they just disappear! The lid was NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to get off! And once off NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to get on! And now I can just sort of lift it without pushing the tab. NOT what I would call child proof, but it is, at least, at first, VERY adult proof! (At one point I thought I was going to have to get a screwdriver to pry the lid off or break the tab!) if I had children, I WOULD NOT BUY THESE. I have dogs, and even that worries me, though I'm sure in one bite they would spit it right out. But if you have a home with curious mouthy puppies, be careful and for a home with young children due to lid design, and they way they look, no. Not unless your laundry area is somewhere where your kids NEVER GO. Still, its a worry as they look too much like CANDY. So one star off for that and for it NOT smelling like my liquid tide with downy. Still, I am VERY IMPRESSED and have found a new laundry room best friend that I will repurchase!

Love these. I usually use traditional liquid detergent but decided to try something new. I don't have a washer so I do my laundry at the laundromat. These are small and easy to carry. I put a few in a zip lock bag and it's much more convenient than bringing a gallon of detergent. It contains downy so that's one less product I need to buy. My clothes smell so good after using this and are clean and soft. I do have to say that for large loads, you need to use two pods. I used only one for a large load once and I noticed my clothes didn't smell as nice and were not as soft. Overall, I love Tide products so I'm not surprised that these are great.

A scent I can use!! I have trouble with some scents, unfortunately there too many with lavender. The April Fresh works best for our home but has become hard to find. And to try another scent from the store but headache right away. I was so happy to find April Fresh it at Amazon! Free ship with Prime & came the next day! Great product for us.

I hate running out of laundry soap so I got this tide pods, hopefully it will aid me in laundry endevours through the month ahead
