Oliso Iron is the Best, you get what you pay for!
This is my second Oliso Smart Iron, I needed a second iron at my sewing table to press my quilt pieces as they are stitched together. I actually looked at two irons when making my decision to get the second iron for my sewing/quilting room, the other was a Rowena. For my needs especially for quilting the Oliso won hands down. I hope to never use another iron for my sewing area, it also presses clothing very very nicely. You get steam when you need it the iTouch feature is a great time saver. The automatic cut off feature makes my needs worry free when on a deadline to complete something, I do not have to worry about if I turned it off or not. I do make sure both irons are off and unplugged before I retire for the evening, just my personal thing, although I will admit I have left it on and plugged up a couple of times but never worried because it was cold as a cucumber when I went back to it. Great product, thank you Oliso you make my life easier.

This is the best iron I've ever had
This is the best iron I've ever had. It's on the pricey side (although not as expensive as some I've had), but worth every penny. It's not too heavy, but heavy enough to be effective. It lifts up when you remove your hand, so you never burn anything. This is so great for sewers and quilters, because if you're ironing seams or lots of small pieces, you don't have to keep lifting up the iron while you rearrange your pieces. It shuts off automatically if I walk away and get side-tracked. It has an extra-long cord, which is really great. I almost always use the steam option, because . . . when would you not. It's also pretty.

Reliable and dependable. Works GREAT!
I go through irons. Seriously. I'm a quilter and ironing is part and parcel of making quilts. LOTS of ironing. So I've gotten to know irons. If an iron lasts 6 months, I'm not impressed. An entire year - better. I've tried the hallowed Rowentas - and like everyone says - they leak. Always. T-fal makes a decent iron, lasted over a year. This iron, however. I'm at 2 years and it's going strong. It's hot, it's steamy and it's never given me a moment of trouble. The only downside is getting used to the i-Touch mechanism. You'll be in danger of leaving regular irons face down on the ironing board (ask me how I know). Great iron, dependable iron!

BEST iron on the market!!!
I LOVE this iron. The dials are above the handle where they are EASY to read, and understand. There is a spout to fill the tank with water. This iron uses tap water, not expensive purified water. It turns itself off after 8 minutes of non-use, but comes right back on when you touch it. I was hesitant due to the price, but it is worth every cent I paid for it. I would recommend this iron to everyone who loves to sew and quilt. Oh, and my iron is PURPLE. You can choose the color of your choice.

This is an okay iron BUT...
As a quilter, I need a good reliable iron. This isn't one. I purchased it just over one year ago. First, the good points: 1) iTouch technology didn't strain my wrist as other irons which have to be set upright; 2) it heats up nicely to a cotton setting; and 3) it produces plenty of steam so seams lay flat. Second, the bad/irritating points: 1) if the heat is on and there's water in the tank but steam is turned off, when the iron is set down (such as when using Best Press) it still steams; and 2) water has gushed out of the sole holes three times. Once when I first used it, once when it was heating while set down, and once when it was hot but set upright. So much water came out that it soaked thru the ironing board cover and 2 layers of cotton padding. This is not acceptable. I'll stick with the inexpensive irons which have proven to be more reliable.

I'm impressed.
I bought the Oliso Smart Iron because I was very disappointed with the leakiness of other irons when they were used in the "steam" setting. The Oliso Smart Iron is the only steam iron I've found that is literally "no-leak." This impressed me enough, but it has several other exceptional features. Its water supply lasts much longer than others. I think this is because the iTouch feature allows it to remain face down even when you set it down. In my experience, each time a regular iron is placed on its heel, it gives off a plume of steam that wastes its water supply; the iTouch feature neatly circumvents this problem. Its 1800 watts of energy really cuts down on the number of passes I need to make over a wrinkled area, which saves my own energy when I have lots of ironing to do. All the setting buttons are in one easy-to-see spot, very nice. The cord is long, so it can be clipped up or clipped aside, away from the ironing surface. One minor point: the Oliso Smart Iron is just a bit heavier than less expensive models; in my hands, however, its superior wattage and its iTouch feature more than compensate for that. Overall, I'm impressed with the simplicity of this iron's design as well as its superior function.
