I spend a lot of time outdoors cycling, scuba diving, etc. I decided one day that I could not afford to get any uglier. I also had friends who were undergoing treatment for sun related disorders (melanoma and such). So I looked for something that would offer moisturizing as well as sun protection. I hate feeling greasy and I knew that I did not want something that would burn if washed into my eyes by sweat. This has been a great product for me. If I put it on in the morning and venture out for a day in the sun by the end of the day (10 hours or more exposure) I might see a slight increase in tanning. It works really well. It helps prevent windburn as well as sunburn, and it is a great non-greasy moisturizer at the end of the day. Review: It really IS not oily, works well with or without make-up - I live in Southern Arizona and I use this product EVERY day. After I moved here a dozen years ago it took me awhile to find a moisturizer that worked on my VERY oily skin and didn't cause breakouts. This is it for me. In the summer I switch to the one with SPF 70 any time I plan to be outdoors. The minute I'm done washing my face in the AM, the Neutrogena Moisture goes on. I have dry skin and the combination one is very good, absorbs quickly and isn't greasy.
