Sound Storm Laboratories EV4000D Class D Monoblock Car Audio Amplifier – 4000 High Output, 1 Ohm, Low Pass Crossover, Hook Up to Subwoofer for Bass

This is a great amp for any price. I have it pushing a Pioneer TS-W3002D4 12 in my BMW 745 and it hits hard. I have it connected to my factory head unit and I love it. I have the bass turned all the way down to -10 and on the EQ the freqs 100 and 200 are all the way down to -10 and it still hits hard. With the sound quality of the factory BMW pro logic and this amp pushing the 12 it sounds so good. I have had many systems in my cars for over 20 years and this by far for money i spent is the best. I had a kicker amp pushing a kicker 12 and it kept cutting of when I turned up the volume. So I bought this amp and the thing I worry about now it if my windows are going to shatter. Make sure you have a least an 80 amp fuse because anything less with burn out very quickly. I learned the hard way. I have a 100 amp fuse now.

The only reason i am giving it 4 instead of 5 starts is because I would have liked the ability to connect larger than 4 gauge wire as my power and ground connections. The terminals for power and ground where made for 4 gauge and not big enough for the 1/0 gauge wire i wanted to use. Other than that this is a great amp for the price. All the features you would want in an amp. (Update) I have now owned the amp for a few months and everything still works like the first day i bought it. Another update about 2 years after purchase: Still working great. I am looking at buying another one for my car.

I absolutely love this amp. It's my second one. I sold the first one to a buddy. People has negative things to say about it, but they're in competitions. I have it wired at 1 ohm, great power, doesn't shut off, and doesn't get hot. Even my buddy loves his. Definitely recommended, thanks!!! Updated: I'm still pushing this amp almost 2 years later. It still hasn't shut off, nor does it get hot. I have 2 dual 12 inch 4 ohm soundqubed subs wired at 1 ohm. The subs are under rated at 600 watts rms each. I turn heads from far away.

I bought this amp March 8th 2021 and it last until October 28th 2021 which I'm not complaining considering it was probably my fault because I have the mounted on top of a box with my 12" 1500 watt so ALOT of rattling over the last 7 months. It was powering a 1500 watt skar audio at 1 ohm and a 10 inch kicker at 2 ohms and 2 450watt tweeters and it BUMPED. still works amazing when it warms up but a solder joint cracked inside the amp I'm assuming because it gets power, but won't power my subs on cold mornings(40-50 degrees) but after its warms up it bumps like brand new. 10/10 recommend if shopping for a solid amp on a budget.

This company is really turning out to be a great Amp provider. I installed this Amp in my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 behind the Back seat. Added 2 12" Woofers. All i can say is WOW. The power this AMP puts out is clean and responsive. I have it wired down to 1 ohm and very stable. No overheating, no fault protections. Its an incredible AMP. BTW, I have smaller SSL AMP installed in my 1990 300zx with 2 10's. The sound is incredible and very manageable there as well. Two great AMPs from a really great company.

Overrated power and only about 68% efficient at 1 ohm. It hovers around 900 watts rms, but the capacitors can't keep up. If you're looking for a 500 watt amp, this one does well in that range around 2 ohms, but that's it

The product was nice when I got it. Soo nice I had everyone of my friends on this amp Everything sounded awesome, until after 1 month something shorted out on the board…and everyone later had to change theirs for the same thing..

As expected for the price its no where near the rated out put. With that said, it works great with a nice look to it. Made to accept about 6awg wires snug. It really only pushes just about 1000watts x 2ohms. Perfect when you have a sub rated to 1000 watts. If you really think about it, where are you gonna find a good amp pushing 1000watts for the price of this one anyways!

Man this thing rocks..It took a bit to get it in the mail because the first one that was sent got lost and when I notified the seller they Imediately sent another one express post no less. The seller was quick in responding and gave me tracking updates in my in box to insure the product had made it safely into my hands... Now the amp...I've had 3 different amps wired into my sound system at home using a big ol' 35A power supply with a .5 farad cap to keep the darn things from surging the supply..The last amp I was using in this aplication was an old Kenwood which was doing a great job but I wanted somthing better...At first I was worried I would have to get more power supply on line to handle this beast...Not..I couldn't belive that within the first 10min I had poped the dust caps off these subs I had and yet the demand on the power supply was close to 25% less than all the other amps I had used before...Nomally the LED's on the cap light up to let me know that it's bieng surged..Not this time... After puting the crazy glue on the dust caps to kill the rattle I gave this thing the all weekend blast sessoin and it performed beyond expectation...This amp can and will deliver clean and powerfull bass for hours on end without any effort it seems...the darn thing barely got warm...I was crankin the system up to around 115db and this thing carried on like it wanted more, I could go there but that would mean I'd have to go in the basment and reset the 30A breaker again.. Without any question this is about the best bass bang for the buck I've ever purchased...

More than enough power to vibrate your back.

I love this car amplifier...it has the power to push 5 of my 12" subwoofers.... going to upgrade everything to SSL in my car for the summer....thxs SSL and Amazon
