And the bottom line of course is the sound. This amp is really nice sounding. I'm running a set of Pioneer components, and the amp drives them effortlessly. They don't have much low bass, so I won't comment on that, but the balance and quality of vocals, instruments and highs is really good for the money. Imaging and soundstage, it's all there. Edit April 29/16 I changed up my system as I upgraded the wimpy stock 6x9 speakers on the back deck of my Altima with Pioneer TS-D6902R. I'm now running 2 channels of the amp to the rear speakers, and the front comps get the other 2 channels. Wow. This amp is making my jaw drop running all speakers full range. Lots of tight bass from the 6.5 and 6x9's. Clear, clean, effortless and more volume than I can handle. You really can't go wrong with these Punch amps. You can tune it to the way you want and to prevent clipping it has a nice led indicator. I have Rockford Fosgate everything except my subwoofer amplifier and my front door speakers as I found something better for my application. I am using this to drive two cheap speakers on my rear deck and two JL C1 speakers that can perform at a high volume. My only dislike about this unit is between my aftermarket head unit and this amplifier I've found it simply can't produce enough volume before it starts clipping. I would've been happier at the time I bought this if I had gone with a more powerful Amp but for current me this suits me most fine. For most applications this will provide you with enough volume and quality that you need, unless you're trying to show off and it gets a little distorted when turned up too loud. This is a great Amp and once you set it up you'll never touch it again. I would recomend mounting it down as I used an 8 Guage wiring kit(could have gone with 4 Guage but this unit doesn't really need it) and you definitely don't want that to get pulled out. Should be more than enough to power them. I'm using it for 2 10" R2D2's and a single 12" R2D4 all wired up together at 1 ohm. **Q: With the P600x4 . I want to power my 6.5 components and a set of 6x9's all of which are about 100 watts RMS each. What is the RMS @ 4 ohms on amp** A: I would look at other amps. One of these doesn't have enough power for my doors. Their 2 channel does a decent job on 4 6x9. Their anticlip feature leads to amp cutting in and out annoying feature. **Q: Is this amp 2ohm stable?** A: Yes sir.. it is 2ohm stable. I'm running a single 10" 4ohm DVC bridged to the rear channel with (2 0hm) 6x9s running off the front channel in the rear deck and it sounds great. As long as you dial it in as per the C.L.E.A.N. instructions you'll be really happy with this RF amp. **Q: What is the true rms power on the 600x4? I know these amps are under rated** A: The short answer is above 600 rms total. Every amp comes with a birth sheet that shows the results of a Amp dyno test performed on the amp. Mine was 191 rms per channel @ 2 ohms which translates to 764 rms total. Every amp sold by Rockford is underrated so expect to see a larger rms rating than advertised. I am glad I went with this one because it matches my speakers perfectly. I am pushing four 6.5 inch Sony 162ES component speakers which have an RMS rating of 90 watts. The birth certificate of this amp is over 100 watts per channel at 4 ohms so they match perfectly. It my opinion RF amps are the best amps you can get. The comfort that comes with buying this brand, knowing it will last for years and years is worth the cost. I don't feel like dealing with a dead amp every 2-3 years. I am also pushing my subs with the RF Punch 1000. I am freaking rocking out.
