Place bracket on the wood frame directly in line with spring. Tightly secure with the first screw.Step 2. Stretch and the slip end of spring under the lip of the bracket and insert Lock Pin through holes in the bracket lip. Step 3.     Strong fix for zigzag spring problem

Have a nine year old Thomasville loveseat.  Several springs had let go.  When I opened up the bottom cover, I found that the springs were held by cheap plastic clips that were glued in place.  The glue had failed, the clips came off, and an expensive loveseat was in bad shape.  Installed these clips to hold the springs, and they are not going anywhere!
