I have used olive oil on face and didn't like it. It was too greesy and caused break out. THanks** A: I have not used olive oil, but I am very acne prone and this has been a game changer for me. My skin has never been better. I use a dime size amount on my face, leave on for a few minutes, then us a hot washcloth to steam my face. After the wash cloth is cool, I wipe the oil off. I wish I had known about this when I was younger and going through Accutane hell. **Q: Is this unrefined, cold pressed?** A: The label states it is expeller pressed, which means the oil extracted out of the nut using a high heat. If heat is used when extracting the oil it significantly reduces the beneficial ingredients. This one is a hard pass for me. Spending a few extra dollars for cold pressed is much better than having no results at all! **Q: How strong is the smell?** A: The oil does have some odor, but I would not consider it pungent. It is actually a rather pleasing smell. Also, the smell is not something that stays with you after use. **Q: would it be good for Beard Oil** A: Absolutely. I've been using it as a beard oil for a couple of years now. My skin gets super dry and flaky under my beard, this oil hydrates and clears my skin up in a couple days. Use it every day, and then pat your beard a couple times with a towel to remove any excess so it doesn't get on your phone or anything.
