Great overall vacuum.
Great, light weight vacuum. Had one for20 years ago when the motor died. It was very heavy but was a work horse. This model has a less solid feel, however, it does a great job. Adjustable suction works well. It is not loud when in use. It is easy to pull along and picks up tiny seeds and long dog hairs with ease. One not so good feature is that the rolling heavy duty attachment is too small and not powerful enough and the small upolstery and small brush attachments fall off frequently. It is much quieter than my 20 year old one.

Where has she been all my life!?
As a professional cleaner of 8.5 years I can honestly say Iโve never used a better vacuum. I buy a shark every year due to wear and tear- hoses and motor heads donโt ever last. Iโve used dinosaur Dysonโs, ancient Electrolux (my god they are heavy) and every sort of Shark theyโve made. I always prefer the Sharks but after developing tennis elbow in both arms uprights for me are a thing of the past. My last Shark weighed in at 18lbs- whoa. What took me so long to purchase this gem you may be thinking? Well I was turned off because of it being bagged and having to pull something behind meโฆ Hereโs the low down: She glides like a dream on hardwood and low pile carpets (which most all people have these days). I forget sheโs even back there! The spinning head from suction is awesome!! I can adjust the level of suction three different ways to get the perfect amount of air- Iโve got it set and havenโt needed to to change it since- it handles low and mid pile carpets beautifully and leaves lines. If youโre struggling- your suction is way too high folks. The parquet brush is blessing on hardwood floors- I donโt even have to use any effort to move my wand back and forth. And the bristles- oh they are a thing of beauty and quality- hair and dust pulls right out! The head turns on a dime too :) The bag holds ALOT and Iโm thrilled I can bring this into my clients home and they donโt have to see and dirty gross clear canister. Oh is she quiet- I mean I can talk on my headset and talk normally quiet. The attachments are kinda silly where they want you to store them, I just leave them in my cleaning bucket or one of my pockets- the little brush is perfect for lamp shades and curtains- yes please. Vacuuming stairs is fantastic!! I can remove the pole, snap on the spinning head into the hand held part and vacuum each carpeted stair nicely, I do have to carry my 9lb baby Miele in my other hand but sheโs not heavy so itโs fine by me. The cord is a little short- at 18 ft thatโs kinda of a joke BUT thatโs why sheโs so lightweight (9lbs is this beautiful babies weight). So I bring a 30 foot extension with me on my jobs- no biggie and I rarely have to unplug. And oh I love how the cord whips right back in! No more winding it around the holder. My only wish is that it came with bumper guards, just for the occasional bump into furniture but it hasnโt been too bad. But thatโs not a deal breaker by any means. And I wish the spin brush head was easier to clean out but hey- we canโt have it all. Iโll never own anything else. I love my baby Miele and she loves me back. Makes my daily jobs easier. Try it out and if you donโt like it, send.. nah youโll love her like I do!

Great suction! Very lightweight. On board storage for the wand/beater. Very impressed!
I wish I had listened to reviewers before I bought my last vacuum. I finally gave up and purchased this Miele canister vac. OMG what a difference. I hate the idea of having to plug, unplug and drag around a dead dog (that's what we call canister vacs here) but you can't deny the better cleaning ability of this one. And it doesn't weigh much at all! So it's easy to pick up and move if you need to. It follows you around easily. Doesn't get stuck on corners. The turbo carpet head has 2 settings, and oh boy, you better have the right one selected! I started with the highest turbo setting and literally started pulling the carpet off the floor. This is installed carpet I'm taking about! Holy suction! The carpet head is easily maneuverable. It also doesn't weigh much. There's included 3 cleaning nozzles/heads and a wide hardwood/tile floor head too. The 3 cleaning nozzles/heads have a holder that sits just on the hose at the canister. Convenient to have them at hand. The hose swivels as it should while pulling the canister along. This is a great design, there's even a hook and a slot to hold the wand on the underside of the canister when you stand it on it's butt, so it's stored all together. The cord pulls out and retracts easily. I kinda wish it was longer, but then I'd probably be running over it or tripping on it, so it's good at the length it is. Well made, everything works. The bags are easy to remove and replace. There's a flap on the bag so when you pull it out you're not getting a face of dust & dirt. I bought the kit that includes bags and the 2 filters for when replacements are needed. This is definitely worth the cost for an awesome vacuum!

Incredible suction but you have to adjust it for carpet
It is relatively light weight for a cannister and has incredible suction and reasonably good maneuverability. BUT because this particular model (mid-low price for Miele) does not have an adjustable head, when you are using it on carpet you have to open the suction valve on the handle a bit so it isnโt quite as strong or you wonโt be able to push/maneuver it! I have a high quality tight, low pile carpet and learned this quickly. But once that is done it moves just fine (not like ones with wheels on the head though) and it really gets everything! And you can decide how much suction to leave in/let out which affects how easy it is to push. My hope is that this will last a long time, unlike my Shark which started to fall apart after a few years. If it does it will be worth every penny

Finally! A vacuum that actually sucks!!
I hesitated spending this much on a vacuum, but Iโm so glad I did. This is the vacuum I have been waiting for. Dust pickup is in a league of its own compared to anything Iโve owned before. No more wondering if debris is actually being picked up or just flung back behind the vacuum. This thing actually sucks, and I mean that in the best possible way. It handles both hardwood and carpet effortlessly, gets into corners without any awkward maneuvering, and rolls around more easily than youโd expect for a canister vacuum. Assembly was straightforward, and the versatility is impressive. It comes with multiple heads to handle different surfaces, so youโre covered no matter what your floors look like. I personally rely on two heads and they cover everything I need. The bagged design keeps things cleaner and the vacuum smells fresher overall. Storage is easy, though Iโll be honest, itโs not the most compact setup. Durability feels built to last, which at this price point is exactly what you want. Worth every penny.

A Canister Vac is where its AT!
Yes yes yes! I've been using this daily for a while now, and will NEVER go back to Shark or Dyson. It's incredible in its simplicity. Let's be honest, the whole Shark/Dyson thing is a marketing fad. A solid canister vacuum is, and always has been, the answer. We have two dogs and this machine gets everything. It does not get clogged or lose suction. I don't have to clean out a disgusting plastic dust bin. The dirt and allergens are trapped inside of the canister bag, and as a result, the machine itself stays SPOTLESS. It's quiet, easy to use, and portable. I use my Miele vacuum every single day and it doesn't hesitate to be awesome. The brush head is not powered (the rollers spin using suction only). This initially caused me concern, however I quickly learned that powered brush heads are...you guessed it...MARKETING. They aren't necessary. This non-powered brush head is more powerful than any I've ever used. It pulls the pile up on the carpet and leaves beautiful lines everywhere it goes. For many of our rugs I have to turn the suction down because it's TOO POWERFUL if I don't! My ONLY complaint is the cord length. It's just a touch too short on this model. Not a deal breaker, but if you have a large home, get one of the more expensive models with a longer cord. Frankly, I don't care about the cord. This vacuum doesn't miss a thing. Hearing the crumbs suck up into the hose is immensely satisfying. You know it's done its job because if you take another pass over the same spot, there will be no more crumbs to hear. I've gotten down on my hands and knees to inspect and the carpet is clean! Not only that, but I've watched this machine easily pull up enough dirt to change the color of the carpet back to it's natural state. I'll say this again, I have DOGS. One of them is a Great Dane with giant paws who brings dirt and mud in the house. The other is a terrier that snows white fur when you pet him. They are so messy and my floors are clean because of our Miele vac. Some people are concerned about the bags. They consider them "wasteful" or expensive, perhaps remembering their mothers emptying old bags and reusing them to save money. Here is what I've found with the bags. Buy the AUTHENTIC ones only. They hold a lot of stuff. A plastic bagless vacuum has to be emptied often and the tank gets nasty. On the flip side, the bags are like a trash compactor. You can keep using them for quite a while, and the crumbs and fur and dirt compact inside of it. I vacuum several floors daily, with two dogs, and replace the bag only every 6-8 weeks or so. When you buy a new pack of bags for your Miele, it comes with new filters as well. Because the bag itself IS a filter, you'll find the filters stay pretty clean and rarely need to be replaced. Any potential environmental savings of going "bagless" is made up in the fact that a simple Miele vacuum will continue to work, unbothered, long after you've tossed your 2nd or 3rd Shark vacuum in the trash. Frankly, if you use paper towels or feminine products or toilet paper, you're using a heck of a lot more disposable product than the random, occasional need for a new bag in your canister. Do yourself a favor, get away from the stick vacs and cordless vacs and fussy, hard to clean Shark/Dyson vacuums. Stick with the modern version of an OG favorite. If you want a CLEAN house, bagged canister vacuums are where its at.

This is the best vacuum I have ever owned!
I recently needed to purchase a new vacuum and did a lot of research before buying this one. This vacuum came out on top for ease of use, quality parts, longevity, suction power, and capturing dust. It was important to me that it had a closed system to trap and contain all the small particles of dust and it does a great job with the high quality bag and 2 filters. This vacuum has surpassed all my expectations and is well worth the cost. It is easy to operate, works really well on my tile, wood floors, and area rugs. It has a telescoping wand and the end of the duster attachment rotates to different angles. The floor attachment has great steering and maneuverability. Highly recommend!

Dyson Who?
After a couple of Dyson vacs in 10 years that just were poorly constructed and a mediocre filter system that left dust everywhere, I decided to re-visit Miele ownership. Best decision. The price is right for this vacuum. Pros: 1. I can control the pick up power and move easily from rugs, floors and upholstery witht . 2. I can thoroughly dust floor boards and surfaces with the round brush- and get into the carpet stair crevices, window sills and shutters. 3. It's quiet. 4. It's light weight. I can pick this up and carry it around while vacuuming. 5.The bag and filter are great. No flying dust, canisters that won't stay shut. 6. It stores easily- i read that it desn't stand on its end, mine does just like the picture. I dismantle mine due to a shelf in the way in my closet. 7. It picks up really well and that means less passes with the vaccum = less time cleaning. Cons: 1. Yes the cord is short- but being a euro vacuum where there are smaller living quarters- I expected. I can do near all my 700' flat without unplugging with a strategic plug decision. I can do all the stairs & landing and it's a lot of stairs. 2. The tool bar- while some. might not like it, I don't hate it. I do think it would be better as stored, but then it's easy to switch out like this. 3.) Roller brush is a pain to clean. But having to actually use a screw driver to remove- means you won't break the connection. Clean it after each use and it shouldn't be too awful. I vacuum mine to get the roller moving so i can pull out my long hair strands. Another thing I read from other reviewers- the static! Pro tip: rub the plastic hose and the vacuum- all over with a dryer sheet. It works. All in all it's the bees knees and I'm happy I took the plunge to make cleaning easier. This is a darn nice vacuum for the sale price. I did keep my hand vac portion of my dyson for my vehicle, but it is really truly retired after 4 short years of service.

Excellent vacuum!
My 8 year old Dyson ball vacuum finally quit. It would run for about 3 mins then shut off. I replaced every possible filter on the unit including the 'difficult' one to get at in the ball. When it came time for me to replace the old Dyson, I decided not to get another one. Dyson is expensive, problematic and didn't last as long as my old Sears Kenmore canister vacuum that is now 30 years old and still running. I use the Kenmore to vacuum my car. Anyway, I needed a house vacuum and decided to give this Miele a try. Pros: great suction, light and easy to manoeuvre, works really well on carpets. Cons: the power cord could be another 6 feet longer. I really like this vacuum, now that I've had it for almost a year. Beats my fragile Dyson hands down! Yes, I recommend this vacuum!

Fabulous Vacuum!
I replaced an almost 20 yr old Kenmore vacuum which as I got older found it very heavy to move around and the overall performance had diminished. I ordered the Turbo so I could get both floor attachments -- for hardwood and carpet -- and so far I am very pleased with my new vacuum. The hardwood floor attachment wasn't great so I ordered the parquet twister and that made all the difference. I wish it had come as an option with my original purchase. The suction is amazing, it's very quiet and lightweight. Everything I need in a good cleaning assistant! I'd buy another however hoping this lasts me 20 yrs!

Powerful vacuum, cleans really well - worthwhile investment!
Powerful vacuum, cleans really well. Top quality product. I love this vacuum so much. I broke down to splurge to buy this vacuum as I want to maintain great cleanliness in my new condo. I enjoyed every moment of using it. It is a worthwhile investment - although it is pricey, but I think it will last a long time, and is very useful in keeping the place clean. Kills all the dust bunnies!

Nice vacuum cleaner.
A good vacuum. Not as amazing as an Electrolux but I prefer canister/ bagged vacuum cleaners.bit silly attachment carousel which I would never use. Would try to place these back in the canister as old models used to have.

Lightweight
Like my new Miele canister vacuum. My mom has one that's over 30 years strong. Hope this one would have a strong / tough plastic hose as my mom's. That's the only thing I would change. Otherwise, excellent buy. Hope it lasts half as long.
