These rat-tail combs are amazing quality. They really do seem like they are carbon fiber and heat resistant. They come with a little plastic cover on the end of the comb so they can’t poke anyone. They glide through hair very smoothly. They don’t flex like cheaply made combs, they rat-tail parts the hair perfectly. Every hair stylist should have a few sets of these, especially if you’re clumsy like me and drop stuff a lot. You’ll have extra. And at the price point, you should buy multiple sets. And can we talk about how cute they are?? Pink?! Come on!!! So much better than burning black. I 100% recommend!!!!

These rat tail combs work exactly as expected and are a great value for the price. The metal tail makes it easy to create clean parts, section hair, and assist with styling, while the comb itself glides through hair smoothly. I also like having multiple combs included so I can keep one in different places or have backups on hand. They feel lightweight but sturdy enough for regular use. Overall, these are simple, functional styling tools that get the job done well.

I would've given 5 stars but I dropped one and I'm of the teeth broke right off. Other than that, they're a nice comb. Prefect for sectioning hair and doing Foils. I love the colors, and they seem pretty sturdy, except for my little mishap. I would purchase them again, I just need to try to not drop them.

I’m still wearing a side part even though I’ve heard they’re unfashionable now. I had a plastic comb that I bought at Sally’s Beauty Supply, but it was thin and I snapped it. I liked the pink color of these combs, and I needed a small item to get free overnight shipping so this was it! The combs are a heavier duty plastic and I like the metal end. I get a clean, easy part wit it. Since it’s a three pack, I’m not anticipating needing to need more combs anytime soon, but I would definitely purchase again.

Really nice comb set with sturdy handles and bright colors. I was worried they might feel flimsy but they feel substantial like you can get a lot of work done without worrying about the head snapping off. The pin tail will make a nice clean parting to do color applications, or cut sectioning, and the comb teeth are fine enough you can easily use them to section and also tease out hair for blending highlights. One thing I would love is if the pin tail was just like 2" longer. I know longer ones exist, and some are too long. They arrived packaged well and even have protective tips on the end so you don't get poked through the package. Really great value set!

I broke a small piece of the comb but it's very affordable for a pack of three and gets the job done

I remember using these in my "olden days" when pouf hairdo's were the style. I don't have much hair on the crown of my head and also have 2 cowlicks right in the middle of my head. I needed something that I can tease my hair with and also use the metal end to lift my hair. It's curly and I don't use regular combs or even brushes. I just finger comb it but I do need some help getting the top and the back looking decent while not combing out the curls. This comb will work.
