DigiPower TC-U450 Univeral Camera Battery Charger (Black)

After doing thorough research online, I could not find a suitable universal battery charger that would charge my proprietary Canon NB-6L battery as well as my extra Motorola HW4X batteries (for my Motorola Droid Bionic). I accidentally happened upon this unit at Wal-Mart. It is the best thing I have found in a long while! It successively charges any flat style battery I throw at it. It will also charge AA/AAA batteries and I can use it as a USB charger. Truly universal. It also feels super solid. The sliding arm feels of quality when sliding it and it holds on to any battery solidly so its not going to fall out when used. Add the fact that it comes with a car adapter and you never need to buy another battery charger again. Throw out your propriety camera charger because you will want to stick this in your camera bag instead of the bulky proprietary charger!

This is great to keep in a camera bag. Charges a multitude of rechargeable batteries without having to carry a multitude of chargers. You have to adjust it to fit the battery which is very easy to accomplish. The charger also has a USB plug-in and separate car charger. This is one of those products I wish I had purchased a long time ago. Hope this helps, Ward

I got this charger to charge batteries for my Casio and Kodak cameras. The charger design works great for the Kodak battery - I have a KLIC-7004 and the battery design is flat. The polarity for the Kodak battery is such that when you look at the with the contacts on the left, the - is on top and the + is in the middle. This is the optimal design for this charger. The flat Casio battery, on the other hand, has the polarity reversed: the + is on the top and the - is in the middle. I can't put it in "normally" like the Kodak because the contacts on the battery don't touch the correct contacts on the charger. When I flip it around, the contacts on the battery are too far up, so the charger contacts touch only the plastic coating. The only way I can get it to charge in this charger is to turn it perpendicular to the charger and secure it with a rubber band. It works...not pretty, though. Revision 10/18/15. I took this charger on a cruise and found that I could charge the Casio battery in the "normal" position just fine on the ship. So, apparently the charger just doesn't work with how the outlets in my house are wired? Raising review from 3 to 4 stars.

I have two cameras that my wife consistently misplaces the chargers for, a CANON SX210IS and a Panasonic LUMIX ZS5K. I ordered this because the Digipower website said it was compatible with both camera batteries, so far it has proven to be accurate. I have only owned this charger for a couple of days but have complete recharged both batteries. I can't say for sure whether or not the batteries are charged as completely as with stock chargers but both cameras registered the batteries as full. The led charge indicator on the charger works as described in the instructions, the 12v accessory cable works. I really can't personally find a reason to deduct any stars from this product as it works for all of my needs.

This is a video review for the DigiPower TC-U450 Universal Charger. Hopefully I have shown how it can charge odd-shaped batteries. I forgot to mention in the video that occasionally I set up to charge, and the 4 lights across the charger do not move. To correct this, I just push the battery against the leads a bit snugger and it will then charge. For thinner batteries that do not stand tall enough to connect to the leads, I use the bottom sliding bar to pinch the battery in place at a height that it can connect. This will allow for charging the thinner batteries (such as my Fiio E11 batteries, which I did not mention in the video). Versatile, but not intuitive. Tendency to not be able to fully capture batteries. I have to secure then to the charger with a rubber band.

Love that I have 2 ways of charging my batteries with this. If you slide the bottom piece snuggly up next to the battery, it holds it there well. I have had others where the battery constantly fell out and didn't charge. This one works great!

Box arrived with power cable and instructions but not the actual device. Returning to Amazon. Will try once more and will update rating once I have a chance to try the actual item.

Great charger. Fits lots of different size of batteries. Would definitely recommend.

So far, very good. I charged my old proprietary Sony bg camera battery pretty quickly, once I figured out that both sides and bottom have a slider that you can move to conform to the shape of the battery. Also, even tho there were 3 contact points on the battery but only 2 prongs on the charger, it worked fine. I am very happy that I didn't have to buy a proprietary charger. With this charger, I can use old cameras but don't have to shell out for a bunch of different chargers. Nice product and a great price on Amazon. Tbh this product and similar brands are quite a lot more $ on other store websites. Im just thrilled it works. It's a great thing to put in my kit bag and know that whatever random battery I need to charge, this charger can probably do the job. Nice.

dont buy! for camera batteries, the contacts must be excellent, but the charger does not make excellent contact easy, I learnt by lots of wasted time to fidget with the arrangement after plugged into power to look for signs of good contact...hint = look at the higher number LEDs The LED indicators are complex and not made for casual use. DONT BUY
