How thick it the pad?

The pad is thin but not like a piece of paper. Definitely not bulky. You don't even know it is there

How long are you suppose to use this to get any results? 10 min? 30 min?

As long as you realistically can. Minimum of 20 minutes is what I'd recommend, same as an epsom salt soak.

can an adapter be used for European locations? How much does this weigh for travel?

I have other grounding mats that come with adapters that can be used in any outlet so I think probably yes. The weight is just a few ounces but it is fairly stiff so you can't fold it or roll it up real tight but you'd be able to roll it and tuck soft small items in the middle like socks. you could also roll it with your towel or larger clothing items to save on space.

I have given it a surface washing without any problem.
