I love this fan! I have a very small bedroom so I didn't want a full 12 inch desk fan taking up loads of space on my table, but also didn't want the small flimsy ones which don't cool you down very well. This is exactly what I was looking for. PERFORMANCE: It's a really simple product, but it works well and is more powerful than I thought it would be. It can be tilted up or down, and has two speed settings on a light switch-type control on the back. The first setting is a nice for a gentle breeze, the faster one is actually much more powerful than I expected from quite a small product. Noise-wise, it emits a low hum (unavoidable for a fan – moving blades are never going to be 'whisper quiet'), but isn't very noisy at all, actually quite relaxing for those who like unobtrusive white noise. LOOKS: It also looks great! It's matte black coated metal and looks as 'clean' and 'elegant' as a fan can look; I don't mind keeping it out when it's not being used. As mentioned, it's a great size for when you want something smaller than a regular desk fan (which waste so much space on the stem), but don't want the novelty small fans that are only useful when you have them a foot from your face. Would be ideal for an office desk, kitchen counter, or a bedside table. PACKAGING & EXTRAS: The product arrived fully assembled which was a nice surprise with not too much excess packaging, and no plastic. The charging cable that comes included with the product also feels high quality and is around 1.2 metres long. It does NOT come with a USB socket adaptor. Be aware that this product does not have a battery – it has to be plugged into a USB port to turn on.

Build quality: Really good. The metal cage solid. I can pick it up with one hand as the cage properly fits a good distance away from the blades. The blades also look pretty solid - almost no vibration when the device is on. Convenience: the usb power is incredibly useful - I can take it with me to the bedroom - living area or keep on the desk. plug and play. no problems transporting - it's really lightweight and the stand doubles as a hanging frame. noise: the motor sounds like it has a dual tone thing going on. Most fans will obviously whirr, but this one has that as well as a high pitch tone coming from the motor. a bit odd. It's relatively quiet compared to a larger fan of course. the fan is advertised as anti-vibration. It's possible the dual tone noise I hear is from this feature. I haven't taken it apart of course, so I can't be certain of that. price: I bought it at £12 when the UK temp hit 28 degrees in my area. I previously purchased more expensive, all-plastic fans and sent them back one after the other with four different purchases due to the lousy standards of today's marketplace. To have a fan like this at £12 seems pretty decent. performance: This is the main reason I am giving this product three stars. I understand it's small and runs from USB. However, the wind blown in your direction is just too small. A standard disk you could easily put a meter away and still have a decent breeze. For this fan, you ideally need it within a foot of your face for it to adequately cool you. As far as it's ability to shift air, *I just wish it were powerful* enough to have it placed just a little bit further away - as it stands - to get a decent breeze against your face, I have to put it in front of my keyboard. Do I recommend it: If you're looking at this review or this product in general, chances are you don't wanna fork out £350 for a dyson. The cheap plastic models on the market are so far beyond a joke - you'd only hope trading standards will catch up to those companies eventually, that leaves you with the larger metallic desk fans around £40-60, which you'd probably be better off getting but... If you're looking for a mini fan that is portable, a decent price and powered by usb, all the while being small enough to not take up your entire desk - this one is pretty good. I recommend it. UPDATE: 11-JUN-2017 EasyAcc offered a refund *AND* replacement after seeing my review. I am therefore upgrading my review to five stars up from three in order to take this into consideration. I've never before seen such a kind offer. Service is important, and they seriously delivered on this part. Mega Kudos to EasyAcc.

This USB desk fan is small but powerful, providing a nice breeze while staying quiet. Perfect for a desk setup without being distracting. Easy to use and doesn’t take up much space.

I have to say, after having lots of desk fans in the past this is one of the best. Why I hear you ask.....well, it's very quiet ( which is nice as I have this as a bedside fan at night), stylish (love.from.brushed brass colour) small but big enough to put out a good draft from the fan. All in all just a cracking fan and does the job. Great value for it's money too.

Having owned numerous fans over the years, in my opinion this is by far the best USB fan i've ever purchased, powerful and quiet. Alot of 13amp plug fans claim to be quiet, but i've never found one paying £££ for there claim (great if you like white noise but i don't). USB fans are very cheap and quiet, great on your desk/in your face, but they don't really cut when it comes to keeping you cool in bed during a UK hot summer night. 20+ fans later, i have finally one to write a review about..

I bought this fan to use in my bedroom over the warmer months and I am not disappointed. On opening the box I was a touch apprehensive as the fan seemed smaller that i expected and only contained a USB charger wire. I was concerned when I realised that fan had to be permanently connected to a USB port to enable to it work but I connected it to my PC and turned it on to test it out and was pleasantly surprised to find that it is very quiet when in use, even when it is on setting 2 of 2 (the fastest setting) you can barely hear it. I was also happy to find that it is a very efficient fan and kept me very cool and refreshed during a particularly hot night. Also I must add that even though my PC went into sleep mode as it was not being used the fan continued to work which is a great bonus. The unit itself is a very sturdy, metal framed fan on an adjustable base so you can position correctly for your needs. Overall I think that was definitely money well spent and I am more than happy to recommend this to other customers.

Very neat little unit. Its not silent but, to be honest, complete silence from a mechanical item is an impossible request! It's really pretty quiet, considering the amount of air it circulates.

This fan delivers just as I had hoped. It’s 1/2 to 1/3 the volume of another USB fan I replaced, delivering at least three times the volume on low. I am really happy with this item. It is a pleasing two tone sound, if you’re near enough to hear it. Update @ 2 Years . This fan is still performing perfectly. I’m still ecstatic about it, so much so that I have ordered another and probably will another again. It is the quietest fan I have ever had, and it’s impact is significant. It only draws about 2.5 W , The smallest jet type fan draws nearly 30 on low. I have this fan across the room 10’ and I’m fully enveloped where I’m sitting.

Good product but cable was defect.

Ottimo prodotto, era ciò che cercavo, lo uso sia per ventilazione "personale" che per refrigerare il computer portatile durante intenso uso specialmente estivo. Pro: due velocità, griglia metallica sufficientemente stretta da non permettere l'urto accidentale con oggetti intorno al ventilatore ma abbastanza larga da non ostruire il flusso dell'aria, presa USB che attacco sia al computer che a un qualsiasi caricabatteria con uscita USB (questa seconda è la mia preferita), rumorosità modesta (dopo un po' ci si abitua). Contro: ho dovuto smontare la griglia anteriore (fissata tramite tre vitarelle alla griglia posteriore) per incollare degli smorzatori (piedini di gomma) intorno ai fori delle viti, questo per evitare vibrazioni e contatto metallo-metallo durante il funzionamento con relativa rumorosità. Tutto sommato lo consiglio.

Ich besitzte bereits mehrfach den kleinen Bruder dieses Lüfters EasyAcc 4 Zoll Mini USB Ventilator desktop Lüfter Neigbar Für Den Schreibtisch Klein, Kompakt Und Kraftvoll, Mit An/Ausschalter - Schwarz und nutze diese regelmäßig beim Campingurlaub oder auf Urlaubsreisen. Aufgrund der kompakten größe sind diese hervorragend für den Transport geeignet. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist einwandfrei, besonders gut gefällt mir bei dieser Lüfterfamilie, dass alles aus wertigem Metall besteht und nicht wie bei vielen Mitbewerbern aus klapprigem Plastig. Zudem finde ich Plastik hier auch fehl am Platz (Sonneneinstrahlung). Ich habe mir den kleinen oben angemerkten Lüfter zwischenzeitlich 4 mal in einem Zeitraum seit August 2015 gekauft und die Lüfter laufen zuverlässig wie ein "Uhrwerk". Einen Lüfter musste ich in der Zwischenzeit (der erste gekaufte Lüfter) einmal öffnen, also das Megallgehäuse um den Propeller, um den Lüfter insgesammt komplett zu reinigen (Schleifgeräusch um die Motornarbe aufgrund Dreckablagerung). Dies ist aber bei solch einer Beanspruchung völlig normal. auch in diesem Zusammenhang hat mich die Verarbeitung sehr überzeugt - das Gehäuse ist mit kleinen schrauben verbunden, welche sich leicht öffnen lassen. ich habe dann mit einem Pinzel (hartborstig) und einer Pinzette den ganzen Dreck entfernt und anschließend den Lüfter wieder zusammen geschraubt. Dieses Projekt hat nicht einmal 5 Minuten gedauert und der Lüfter schnurrt wieder wie ein kätzchen ohne Schleifgeräusche. :-) Ein Arbeitskollege hat sich über einen Mitbewerber vor ca. 1 Jahr fürs Büro einen solchen kleinen Lüfter angeschafft, der aber leider vollständig aus plastik und verklebt ist. Da sich dieser Lüfter nicht aufschrauben lässt, und er zwischenzeitlich aus allen ecken klappert (sehr nervig auf dem Büroschreibtisch!) hat mein Kollege seinen Lüfter weggeschmissen und mit neuem Saisonbeginn jetzt einen von EasyAcc nachbestellt. Mein Kollege hat sich hier für die kleine Version (platzsparend) für den Schreibtisch entschieden. Diese größere Verison habe ich mir nun für unser Wohnzimmer bestellt. Aufgrund des größeren Propellerdurchmessers habe ich mir einen etwas größeren Luftstrom (im Radius) erhofft - ich hoffe es ist nachvollziehbar was ich meine. Was soll ich sagen - meine Hoffnungen wurden bestätigt. Der Lüfter steht nun an heißen Sommertagen auf unserer Fensterbank oder auf unserem Schreibtisch und verschafft meiner Partnerin und mir genügen Erfrischung OHNE dabei unangenehm laut zu sein. Von der Technik her ist mir aufgefallen bzw. habe ich nachgemessen, dass es sich bei den Motoren von den kleinen Lüftern zu diesem größeren Lüfter um die absolut identischen handelt. Die Motoren werden mit den USB-Üblichen 5 Volt bei 2,5 Watt versorgt. Auf der Rückseite aller Lüfter befindet sich identisch ein Kippschalter, mit dem der Lüfter aktiviert und deaktiviert werden kann. Hier hätte ich mir beim größeren Modell als "i-Tüpfelchen" noch eine Einstellmöglichkeit von verschiedenen Geschwindigkeitsstufen gewünscht (Stufe 1, Stufe 2 und aus) und dafür einen etwas leistungsstärkeren Motor. Vielleicht bringt hier EasyAcc ja noch ein Modell raus :) Da sich dieser Lüfter über einen handelsüblichen USB Typ-A Stecker an Strom bedient, kann er absolut flexibel betankt werden. Beispielsweise an einen 230V-Ladegerät mit USB-Stecker, einem USB-Port am PC, einer PowerBank oder einem Solarladegerät (verwende ich hierüber oft beim Camping). Da ich mit der Leistung dieses Lüfters - wie auch mit den anderen kleineren Modellen - sehr zufrieden bin, sehe ich bei dem fehlenden "i-Tüpfelchen" keinen Anlass zum Punktabzug, schließlich hält der Ventilator was er verspricht. Ich bin auch hier auf den Langzeittest gespannt, da aber die kleineren Versionen unverändert zuverlässig Ihren Dienst verrichten, bin ich hier extrem zuversichtlich. Resümierend kann ich die Anschaffung nur empfehlen und werde selbstverständlich berichten bzw. meine Rezension anpassen, wenn hier Auffälligkeiten im Langzeittest auftreten.
