The letter was turned on for about 4 hours before I turned it off and the light bulbs do not get hot what so ever! 10/10 recommend. Also, batteries were not included so if you want to buy this, make sure to get AA batteries! ### ⭐⭐ Potentially Dangerous *by A***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2020* I ordered the 4 letters in my daughter’s name & planned to hang them on the wall in her room, however the on/off switch is on the back, so that’s going to be tricky. The first letter that delivered wouldn’t turn off using the switch, it only dimmed. So I had popped one of the batteries out, then while still in the off position a few hours later I noticed an awful burning smell right as I was getting ready for bed & my daughter was in bed. I frantically searched the area it came from & moved everything outside that would’ve been the culprit, including the 4 letters (the others arrived later that day). The following day I went to turn them on again to see how I could hang the letters & noticed the battery that hadn’t popped out of the L exploded!! I couldn’t believe this & had never seen it.
