Running all my components and treb perfectly, sounds great! Easy to hook up , looks feels and sounds high quality. For all these amps expect 70% effectiveness with RMS and never look at max power .

I was skeptical about this amp but it has good power and I would recommend this to anyone

Gets hot too quickly but great sound and about 400 watts real power, for about 100 bucks👍

Needed to replace system in work truck nothing fancy or expensive the ar1600.4 is perfect for what I needed. This amp is for my door speakers and it pushes them better than I anticipated. Make sure your speakers can handle at least 100 watts rms or more at 4ohms it has a little power behind it.

I had The Boss Armor 1600 4 Channel Amp for Several Weeks now and My Only Complaint is it gets Hot Pretty Quick and Goes into Protection Mode.!. I have the Bass Knobs turned all the Way down and the Input Levels maybe a quarter of the way up and keep in mind I only use The Amp on my 4 Factory Speakers in a Dodge Magnum.!. I live in Texas so it’s Hot and I’m thinking about running a Fan on it to keep it a little Cooler.!. Overall for the price it’s good and Clarity is Pretty good as well

Este amplificador lo compre para usarlo con bajos y medios para mi carro Toyota Corolla, da muy buen sonido pero tuve un problema que se recalienta mucho, pero es por instalación ya que los bajos trabajan a 2 Ohms y los medios a 4 Ohms, y esto no es bueno para un amplificador que trabaje a 2 impedancia distintas, aconsejó utilizar para bajos un amplificador clase D y muy superior de lo requiere el subwoofer para que trabaje bien, en fin este amplificador está muy bueno

purchased boss ar 1600.4 amp and installed it in m/c w/o problems. all channels worked for approx. 4 days. channel 1 of the amp stopped playing. switched speaker wires from working channels 2,3,4, to channel 1 and got no sound. placed channel 1 speaker wire to channels 2,3,4 and got sound on each channel. All speakers are good and operating. All fuse are good. adjusted all controls with negative results. Channel 1 of the amp is not working. WORKING WITH ONLINE SELLER to resolve issue. The amp worked well and produced high sound level from speakers when all channels worked. lets hope that I got a bad amp and this is not the quality of Boss products.

Power Rating of 1600 watts is grossly overstated. You will never even get close before the amplifier's protection circuit shuts the amplifier down. Suggest dividing advertised power by a factor of 4 or 5, actual power delivered is closer to 300 or 400 watts total. I'm running a pair of 300 watt peak (150 watt RMS) 4 ohm 4"x10" Pyle speakers. I had to bridge the outputs to get even close to the distortion level (max power) on the speakers and never actually reached distortion before amplifier protection circuit cut out. I've been through three of these Boss AR1600's thinking it was a defect. Same lack of power response on all three. After viewing some youtube product reviews it appears this is just par for the course with each amp manufacturer telling bigger power lies. If you want to drive 4 simple 4 ohm door sized small speakers then you'll need two of these amplifier units and run them bridged. Also that 50 amp fuse provided is a joke. I'm running two of these amplifiers paralleled off a single 15 amp inline fuse, no problem so they do not draw nearly the current they pretend (which corresponds to the limited power output). At least simplifies the fuse installation. Yes, I'm resigned to running a second of these amplifiers to power a pair of 4 ohm 4"x 6" 250 watt speakers (Boss BE464) for a total of four speakers (two amplifiers required). Both amps are bridged.

First thing I've actually sent back. High pass filter will randomly stop working causing door speakers to pop. Bought thinking it would be a slight upgrade on the Riot. No it is not. Hooked a scope up to compare the two. On my system the Riot will hit 50 volt sin wave before clipping. This thing hit 18. Absolutely garbage. If you want a cheap amp Buy the Riot instead.

No probs at running my auna1000 watt 6x9's. Clear sound, no overheating issues. Great value for the money. Gonna order another 1.

Sicuramente la potenza dichiarata non è quella effettiva, ma comunque la qualità del suono è molto buona. Io lo uso con configurazione a ponte per pilotare un subwoofer e sono molto soddisfatto. Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto
