Perfect when used for what it's designed for.
For those giving poor reviews due to "not enough power" you should research your product and what you intend to use it with, or have someone who has been in the audio industry help you. I've been in car audio for 15 years, professionally trained, worked in various shops and competed in SPL competitions, among a myriad of other things. Bottom line: This amp works great for what it is. This will not blow you away, this will not pound anything, it is made to add a few smaller speakers to a setup if you are looking to get a bit more sound. I utilized this in an install recently adding a set of lower end Pioneer 6x9's to a wagon that already had four 6.5's in it. Sound was clear, power matched to the 6x9's beautifully, worked as intended. I also run the 3000.1 monoblock and a 12" SSL in my daily driver, I wanted something inexpensive but good sound, not disappointed. Will this win any comps? No. Will it sound good for the money? Absolutely. Most head units nowadays put out at least 50w and since this runs 50w RMS @ 4 OHM you wont gain much switching from a head unit to this amp. This is one designed primarily for those wanting to add 2 more speakers to their setup to just gain a bit more sound. For the DOA ones, any company mass producing will have products that fail, unfortunately most of the people who speak the loudest are often due to poor experiences. Such is the industry. If you are looking for an amplifier, know the speakers you intend to use, match the amplifier to them. If the speakers handle 80 RMS, get an amp that can do 100 RMS. If you can run your amp at 80% rather than 100% it'll save the life of your amp significantly. You can always dial an amp back, you can't dial it past 100%.

Perfect for driving factory subwoofers
I used this to drive the factory subwoofer in a 2004 Tahoe. The original BOSE amplifier would stop working in cold temperatures and I needed to replace it. I could drive the factory speaker with an aftermarket radio but needed an amp for the subwoofers. This was a perfect for my application and gives the radio the extra kick I was looking for. I believe it's doing a better job than the original BOSE amplifier. An added bonus was that two of the screws matched the footprint of the BOSE amplifier so screwing it in place required no modification. Likes: - Easy installation - Remote on/off power control - Variable drive level and range switch - Small Size - The right amount of functionality, nothing extra, nothing left out.

Good Stereo Amp, Not Bridgable
This unit was set-up so that the speaker level inputs and the low-pass crossover were used to power a dual 6.5 inch subwoofer cabinet in the trunk of my car. Although it may not be capable of competition sound levels, it works very well for those of us that listen to music. It is only a stereo amp however, as it seems it is not compatible with bridge adapters. In a different application, I attempted to use a bridge adapter to operate the amp in what would effectively be bridged mode (with the two channels 180 out of phase) but the amp started to heat up when the two negative speaker outputs were tied together. The heating occurred even before an input signal was applied. The o-scope showed that each channel was only operating during half the sinewave with the other polarity being clipped off. One channel had the positive lobe clipped while the other had the negative lobe clipped. Perhaps it could work in a different wiring scheme, but the easier solution for me was to swap the speaker out for one with a dual voice coil.

works but junk
a Jensen amp from walmart during the 90's is better than this, will not work if using the bandpass filter switched on, loud thump when powering it off, if I didn't need to install it to sell a car I would have returned it or tossed it out, it works but it is total junk

Great amp for the price.
I installed the amp with a Lightning Audio install kit. I soldered in to the rear speaker wires for connection to the high inputs on the amp, and soldered in to the accessory wire leading to the head unit for remote on. The low pass filter works fine. Remote on works fine. There is a slight pop on power up with remote, but I imagine that is to be expected. I was disappointed to learn it's not bridgeable, but it works fine on one 100W channel. I haven't driven it hard on my 12" sub, but IMO there's no need. It does a great job filling in the lows that my factory stereo couldn't reach. The price is excellent for the versatility of high and low inputs, low pass filter, and dual channels. I was also happy with the compact size, as it fits easily under one side of the driver's seat without risk of getting kicked.

Only good for tweeters
Ok so i want to bring up a few things about this amp i will tell the power, guts, and the advertizing flaws so please listen and take heed it will save your time and money. Ok so first i want to tell you about the power this can put out of rather the power it can't put out. I clamp tested this amp and it puts out 50 watts bridged at 2 ohms which is way to low for this it cut off after a few mins so the power is sad and i was running it off an optima yellow top with a running car and db link 8 guage wiring kit so it was not starved at all and i couldnt blow a tiny 5 watt speaker. Ok so now the guts they were so sad i almost cried laughing it runs o amplifying chips and it said mosfet power supply haha no it has one small mosfet so it heated up fast and in one end the heat sink cant fix that if it is only one tiny area getting very hot so i couldn't run it very long. Now the advertizments haha sure this made me laugh it has a low pass and full filters no high pass filter so yeah lying out of their behinds and amazon needs to fix the power ratings it is really (17.8 watts @2 ohmsx2) (38.3 watts @4ohmsx1) (48.6 watts @2ohmsx1)<----this power is not stable you will blow the only fet on this amplifier. So overall i just wanted to inform you not diss the company or the amplifier it is clean and looks good so if you have low power speakers for computer or a little ice box-boom box this is a nice vompact amp just dont expect 80 dollar power for 20 bucks you get what you pay for thanks for reading and i hope i'm a help to you.
