Am I missing something?** A: Use the reference image shown on Amazon for the product. The stickers are numbered to match the frets from 0 to 12. My guitar's fret nut(the first vertical metal bar next to the head) prevented me from pasting the 0 sticker(but the 0 open string notes are the same as the 12th string ones an octive higher). Place stickers 1-12 in the order shown on each fret centered as shown. Carefully slide each sticker under the strings, making sure that each note letter falls directly under a string. Guitars usually have 22-24 frets, but these stickers cover the first 12(or 13 if you are covering the open strings at the nut). Frets 13 to 24 are the same notes as 1 through 12, but one octave higher. When you are first learning guitar, you will usually start learning the fretboard from low to high. By the time you build your knowledge, you will already know the finger math for anything over the 12th fret anyway. There is a helpful chord poster on Amazon listed as - Popular Guitar Chords Poster 24"x36". It is made by a different manufacturer. It is very useful, and I taped it to a large poster board and keep it around whenever I need it; which is all the time. It is colorful and easy to read, and I recommend it highly. Take advantage of your local library, youtube videos, and google searches before investing in a lot of tools. If decide that you want to memorize the fretboard layout, there is a book I puchased here called "Guitar Fretboard: Memorize The Fretboard In Less Than 24 Hours: 35+ Tips And Exercises Included" As a was a newbie, it took me longer, but I reference it often, and I'm glad I bought it in the long run. I bought quite a few books online, and found that I was not at the level yet to understand or appreciate them, but after revisiting them, I find I can now do those tougher excercises. Don't get frustrated, and enjoy the experience. **Q: Can you use for left handed guitars?** A: No **Q: I'd this certified with nsf?** A: Please do NOT eat/consume this product.
