Great coffee, decent value. This tastes smooth, has a decent crema and works flawlessly with our Lavazza machine. The pods are compostable too so less worry about single use plastic.

Handy little pods, although I much prefer the whole process and ritual of grinding beans and making my espresso fresh every time, the price of a 'proper' espresso machine is now beyond my budget. The coffee they produce is okay - but the flavour varies so much from pod to pod. Sometimes the pods leak the grounds into the cup which I'm not too keen on, but only a small amount finds it's way into the cup, and it might be the machine that I'm using anyway. If you're not a coffee snob like me these are a quick and easy way to make coffee. To me all pods are overpriced as well.

I've been purchasing these same pods from this Amazon vendor for several months now as it is by far cheaper than elsewhere and you know your getting a consistently good branded coffee pod. I like a nice strong coffee flavour as a base so I prefer these, the beauty is with this machine you can then make it as strong and weak or adjust the milk to water ration however you like. I personally like - Qualita Rossa, Espresso Passionale and Espresso Intenso. I believe there are non Lavazza pods that are compatible with the machine that are cheaper, however I would rather spend that little bit extra for quality so I tend to stick to the branded ones, plus unlike tassimo machines the pods really arn't that expensive for the quality of the coffee you get from it. Recently Lavazza have changed there plastic disposable pods so that they are now biodegradable (they used to be a smooth black hard plastic whereas there now a softer pink type capsule). No doubt they cost more to produce yet this hasn't effected the quality or price which is outstanding, a company actually caring for the planet and fronting the cost! I've seen a couple of comments on the quality of these pods being lacking as the coffee sometimes pours slow. Its just the nature of the beast, you will always get the occasional pod that is a little slower - however I've tried cheaper brands on a different coffee machine and as there is less coffee packed into the pod the machine was much faster, the product was noticeably worse though. Don't let this put you off (besides even if its pouring slow you at least know there is enough pressure and a good amount of grounds in the pod, your only waiting a few seconds extra!). I also have no doubt these pods are genuine, again the pods are so cheap compared to its rivals it would make little sense to make knockoff pods.

I have tried most of the Lavazza A Modo Mio machine coffee pods range and I find this Qualita Rossa the best tasting of them all, it's quite strong but not too strong if you get what I mean. It also has a nice creamy taste & texture and it's nice and smooth with not too much bitterness. I found the Dolce Lungo and Delizioso nice as well but I found them to have a bit too much bitterness tasting for my personal choice, as I don't have sugar in coffee I guess that doesn't help but my personal choice is this 'Qualita Rossa' hence why I'm giving it a good star rating review here.

Le immagini dei capsule ecologici sono fuorvianti. Riceverai normali capsule lavazza non biodegradabili. È un peccato. Avrei dovuto leggere le scritte in piccolo, ma quando l'immagine pubblicitaria è quella delle capsule eco, ti aspetti che il prodotto sia proprio quello.....
