Brilliant album

'Cher' is most certainly one of my all-time favourite female artists, have followed her music from way back in 'The 'Sonny and Cher' era which does of course reflect with this release which includes some of her hit - material between 1965-1992. The lady has this instantly recognisable deep and husky voice which has worked so well for her down the ages. Among the stand-out hits that have been featured on this album - 'I Got You Babe' sung with 'Sonny Bono' (Chart U.K '1' 1965) - 'Bang Bang' (Chart U.K '3' 1966) (the version featured on this album is a later version however) - 'Gypsys,Tramps and Thieves' (Chart U.K '4' 1971) - 'Dead Ringer For Love' sung with 'Meat Loaf' (Chart '5' 1981) 'I Found Someone' (Chart U.K '5' 1987) - 'If I Could Turn Back Time' (Chart U.K '6' 1989) - 'Just Like Jesse James' (Chart U.K '11' 1990) (one of my favourites) - 'The Shoop Shoop Song' (It's In His Kiss) (Chart U.K '1' 1991) - just some of the hit-material to be found on-board....of course there are many hits that are simply not included on this release, as is the case with many of the great names down the years you often have to buy a few albums to get all the material you really want. However this release certainly harbours a great reflection of the lady's talent.

Good cd

Good album, all of the hits to that point, even 1 I hadn't heard since a child and had forgotten about. I love Cher's voice. Worth every penny.

Bonjour, C'est le 2ème CD reçu, mais celui-ci est neuf, sous blister vierge, ouf ! Et, devinez quoi, les 16 titres passent d'une seule traite, c'est zard-bi non !? CHER est... et, restera toujours un grand personnage. Avec des chansons étonnantes, pétillantes et remarquablement interprétées. Chapeau bas Madame... ''Madame grande dame'' ce CD n'échappe à votre règle. Il ne vous reste qu'une solution courrez l'acheter ou pire... vous voyez ce que je veux dire !! vous vous le procurez ?? This album was released as a only European Album on 1/7/92, but on 1/14/93 the album was made available in N. America as an Import Album. This album has 16 tracks and 3 which were unreleased tracks which were Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves, Dark Lady & I Got You Babe are from the 1965-1974 period. This Album sold over 5.8 million copies worldwide of which 1.1 million were sold in England, where it went to #1 for seven non-consecutive weeks. This Album is truly an Excellent Album with Fantastic songs. I love Cher's Low Voice on this Excellent Album.
