Moisturizing Cream, For Sensitive Skin, 1 lb (453 g), Vanicream

I bought Vanicream while trying to repair a damaged skin barrier. My skin was extremely dry, irritated, sensitive, and reacting badly to a lot of products, so I needed something very simple and gentle. This cream ended up being one of the few things my skin could actually tolerate consistently. The texture is VERY thick, but surprisingly not greasy. I wouldn’t call it lightweight either, but it feels more comforting than heavy, especially when your skin feels dry and stripped. I mostly used it on damp skin after applying water or Avène Thermal Spring Water first, and it layered well with the rest of my barrier repair routine. Most importantly, it didn’t sting my skin and didn’t cause breakouts for me, which was a huge relief because my skin was reacting to almost everything at the time. I also appreciate how basic and versatile it is. It’s the kind of product that works well when your skin is overwhelmed and you need to simplify everything. I can see why so many people with sensitive or compromised skin recommend it. If I had to describe it simply, this feels less like a luxury moisturizer and more like a reliable “safe” product to keep around for when your skin barrier is struggling. Overall, really happy with it and will definitely repurchase.Great size for your money. A little goes a long way and this will last you for a long time. Staple in my house.

Research shows that Vanicream products are free of chemical irritants which is why I purchased it. This cream has helped with the eczema on my hands. I like that it absorbs into the skin quickly to hydrate and moisturize the skin. It is non-greasy and doesn't leave a sticky film. I find that it has a lightweight consistency compare to the Aquaphora cream I used to use. The Vanicream provides soothing relief for my eczema flareups. This makes me happy. I recommend this cream for sensitive dry skin.

I keep coming back to Vanicream products because they just work. This cream is thick and moisturizing without feeling irritating or overly scented. My skin can be sensitive and this has been great, especially during dry weather. I also love the pump container because it’s easy to use and feels more hygienic than sticking your hand in a jar. This definitely hydrates!!! I have to say that it is greasy but I don't care! I live in Arizona, so we need all the help we can get. It's worth it for what it does. I'm 46 and starting to see the inevitable wrinkles showing up, especially after I put in my makeup. Now, I put this on before my makeup and it helps it not crease. My wrinkles seemed to have disappeared. My skin is so soft compared to what it used to be like. Also, my daughter's eczema was so bad that half her arm was bloody, the crease of her neck, under her eyes, and the back of her legs were all scabbed over. I tried so many products for her and nothing worked. This!?!? Healed every last spot within a week. Completely gone I'm so happy. And she doesn't have any scarring!

This stuff is nice and works well, but I did hope it would be a tad bit thicker. It has a decent weight to it but it’s not as dense as I thought it would be. Keeps skin moisturized and from drying out and cracking. Great size for the price.

This moisturizing cream is great for sensitive, dry skin. It goes on smoothly, has no strong scent, and feels very gentle. It’s also a great value for the money. Overall, I’m a happy customer.

Wow, I am completely in love with this cream! It is hands down the best moisturizer I have ever used. It keeps my skin so soft, hydrated, and calm all day long. It's gentle, has zero fragrance, and a little goes a long way. The pump design is also super convenient and hygienic. 10/10 highly recommend to everyone.

It's petroleum based and locks in moisture very well. However, there are no other moisturizing qualities or hydration. This is best used to lock in other skincare products. Doesn't do anything else or improve skin texture. Just locks in moisture for dry skin. If you have a strong skin barrier or oily skin that doesn't suffer from moisture loss, you won't benefit from this. Very thick and a little goes a VERY long way. Use a pea sized amount unless you want to use it everywhere. Bottle is huge too. I don't think I have to repurchase because it will probably last me forever.

The bottle is old, yellowed, and scratched. There is no clear indication of whether it is unopened or has been tampered with. Extremely poor packaging overall. BUT after using for 1 month I would say this is the best moisturizer I have used till now. Absolutely no allergic reaction (I have a very sensitive skin) but yes it's a bit thick.

Tengo tres semanas usándola y veo resultados maravillosos en mi piel con rosácea, está muchísimo menos rojiza, muy hidratada y se siente más tersa, además de que no me sacó granitos. La uso como crema de día y noche y no afecta la textura de mi maquillaje, una gota del tamaño de un frijol es suficiente para cubrir el rostro y el bote trae mucho, durará muchísimos meses a como le estoy dando el uso. Si tienes piel grasa como yo y la usas por la noche, despertarás con la cara muy grasosa, simplemente limpia tu cara como siempre y vuelve a aplicar, ya que no es comedogenica y no saca granitos.
