I have been wanting to try one of these posture corrector braces for a while now. I have a tendency to slouch and round my shoulders forward, especially when sitting, and was hoping this would help me to sit up straighter. When I saw the opportunity to review this one, I jumped at the chance. Sadly, I am somewhat disappointed with this product. For starters, the part that goes under the arm digs into your arm irritating the nerve distribution. Given the large brachial plexus in the shoulder and the radial nerve that comes out of it and down the back of the arm, it is not surprising that nerve irritation is a consequence of this design. Users should be aware that this is NOT a medical grade device- and therefore caution needs to be used in anyone that has had shoulder, back, or nerve injuries in the past. I am surprised that there are no warnings as such. Using this for spinal stenosis or scoliosis without checking with your doctor could be downright dangerous. Second, the brace is very small. It states up to 42" chest- which is small for many women let alone most men. I thought it was very small when trying it- I normally wear a 40-42" chest in shirts- which give a little room compared to this which is supposed to be snug. The models in the photos on the description page must be very small people- it didn't fit me like that at all. Finally, while the brace does help to keep the shoulders from rounding forward so much, it does nothing to prevent slouching lower in the spine. Overall, I can't recommend this product. Given the low price-this is an example of you get what you pay for.

Came on time and works great. Causes a bit of rubbing under arms, but wouldn't work as well otherwise and it's worth it. Really pretty comfortable. Forgot I had it on for a bit! Much recommend!

Thanks to the Vine program, I have been able to try out several posture correctors in my search for one that is both comfortable and effective. I can’t really recommend this posture corrector on either count. I am a smallish woman, and I found that the shoulder straps dug into my underarms even when I wore a sweatshirt underneath it. Loosening the straps more might seem the obvious solution. But it wasn’t. With looser straps, the device does not stay in place or provide enough support.

They claim this fits a 42" chest (I'm 6'0, 42" chest), it does not come close. I have a posture corrector from Gaiam and it's great. This is a much cheaper version and probably works if you're a petite woman but probably not for most men in the US. This should not be super tight on you. Note some of the other reviews that rate it highly but mention it's tight. If it's adjusted properly it should not be tight under your arms. It should pull your shoulders back and have some tension, but it should be comfortable and feel good, like a good, mild stretch (which it is). For much smaller chests, I'm sure this is fine, but it probably should be advertised for 24-36" chests or thereabouts.

Works great. Comfortable. Easy to put on. Great way to start fixing your posture. Made of good materials. I’m small. It gets small enough if you wear a S in Juniors.

This isn’t necessary hard to use. The directions are a easy to follow and putting this on is so much easier if you have help. If you do not have good shoulder function you will 100% need assistance when putting this on properly, This holds your shoulder back and the proper angle and does greatly relieve back strain. I appreciate the face that the directions flat out tell you that the first few times using this are not going to be comfortable. But you will get used to it. That is again totally true. The directions recommend 15 minutes of use a couple of times a day. It is a great recommendation. I found that longer then 15 minutes and I became uncomfortable enough that I didn’t want to do it again. After 3 weeks of use I now wear this for about 30 min. A day and I have better posture when walking and sitting, this has greatly relieved back and shoulder strain.

I was a little bummed by this product. I have a more expensive and sturdy posture brace, but I was lookin for something I could wear at work. This is hard to put on. And once on, it’s hard to adjust. The idea of a posture brace is to help the body and muscles train to be in proper alignment. I do not feel as though this brace does that. This brace just pulls my shoulders back, and makes it look like I’m peacocking. I also can’t do anything while wearing this brace. I have zero range of motion when this brace is on. The only benefit is it is lightweight, and easily rolls up to be portable.

Shockingly it actually works and is very comfortable. Sitting at a desk all day this is really helping. I recommend this product especially for the price.
