R2 D2 To The Rescue
I love this cooler. I have named him R2 D2. Hey it looks like R2 D2. If you see the picture, I have even made it look more like R2.Anyways, you want to know more about the cooler itself. This cooler is great. It is very large. You can fit so much food in here. My wife and I go camping quite a bit. If we are going to be gone or more than two days we will bring the cooler with us. It can fit all of the cold stuff we need for our trip.It really does hold in the cold a lot longer than your average cooler. With dry ice and several containers filled with water and then frozen, we can get about three days worth, without having to add anything. Actually you have to be careful with dry ice, because anything near it will probably freeze, not just keep it cold.It has two wheels and an extendable handle. I have had no issues with rolling it, even full of food and drinks. It looks like it weighs a ton, but when you need to lift it to get it in your vehicle, it is not as heavy as it looks. It has handles on the sides for easy lifting. The lid hinges open. It does not come all the way off. The lid also has two cup holders built into it. Another plus, is that it has a drainage spout at the bottom of the cooler. The only negatives I have found is, first of all, it takes up quite a bit of room in my car. So, if going on a short trip I just assume take a smaller cooler and adding ice every day. Also, if the cooler is empty or almost empty it has a tendency to tip over easy. More of an annoyance than anything else. All in all it is a great cooler to have. It holds a lot of food and keeps it cool for a lot longer than your average cooler. I highly recommend it if you have the room and on an extended stay without a fridge. If you found this review helpful, please click the "yes" button bellow. Thanks

THIS THING IS HUGE! KEEPS ICE SOMEWHAT SOLID FOR DAYS!
This is really a great looking cooler - much more attractive than the flat blue or flat red ones you see everywhere. So far, it works as advertised, and definitely keeps items cold for several days (with partially melted ice still in it). It's absolutely HUGE, so make sure to take note of measurements before purchasing!8/29/14 UPDATE:Cooler is still going strong! Wheels are heavy duty. This thing has lasted many tailgates, camping trips, and is still going STRONG! I paid $60 back in the day, and would easily pay that again. Still keeps ice mostly frozen for days. Also a great height to sit on for tailgating if you forget a chair - you don't have to stoop too low in order to take a seat.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Almost Perfect
First let me say that purchasing and shipping went smoothly no problems there. This is the second MaxCold 70 roller that I've owned in the past six years. The last one was used quite a bit on the job during many a south Texas summer day and it too was almost perfect. This thing when filled with 20lbs of ice will keep food and drinks icy cold with multiple opening and closing of the lid throughout the day. It has large openings on the sides for easy lifting and a collapsible luggage style handle for easy pulling. There is also a handy drain plug located below on the back for draining. The wheels could stand to be larger and if they swiveled would make this easier to navigate. Now like my last MaxCold it also has the problem of the lid falling off the hinge.Let me explain. This lid is attached to the main cube with molded plastic pegs that fit into holes in the cube forming a hinge. Basically the pegs are too short, so without much effort at all the lid pegs pop out of the cube holes and the lid falls off the cooler. My old unit had the same problem but not quite as bad, its disappointing that igloo hasn't fixed this yet.The lid is large and bulky so grabbing it off the ground is a pain even for a guy with big hands like mine. And the fact of the matter is this shouldn't even be happening. That's why I'm giving it four stars and saying its almost perfect. If you don't mind the annoying lid popping off all the time then this is a very good cooler. If you'd rather not have to deal with it then this isn't the cooler for you.

Excellent, rigid cooler that can take a beating
This is my second Igloo Cube cooler I've bought in about 6 years. The first one rotted due to not using it for 1+years. This cooler is just about the same as the old one, with the difference in that it only has two cup holders instead of four. One improvement is that the lid is taller and more hollow, allowing you to fill it above the base, and squeeze in a few more bottles/cans.I used this cooler at a music festival and put dry ice in a towel at the bottom. After loading it with ice, it kept everything super cold all weekend long - no problems. The festival got rained out, and we camped at the top of a hill that had a super muddy path down to our cars. This cooler made it down the mountain through mud, large rocks, gravel, asphalt, and everything else we threw at it. This thing is built so well and it cleans easily. I would highly recommend it

Large cooler for the price. Food kept cold but there are some caveats.
Very happy with the cooler but the wheels seem cheap. Not sure how long they will last. A couple of thoughts:- Reasonable price for the size.- Keeps food cold just fine.- Molded handles can be difficult to use (after purchasing this, I've learned that I prefer the flip up handles that you can grab.)- Wheels seem flimsy, not sure how long will last- Telescoping handle seems to be of a good quality- Would be nice to be able to sit on it -- but you can't- Cube shape (and depth) make getting food items out (this is usually used on camping trips) a little more troublesomePurchasing this cooler made me realize that I prefer a rectangular shape that is not as deep. Also that physcial handles (instead of molded ones) are much better for carrying.Overall, the cooler works fine. Just be aware of the above.
