Craig Electronics CHT923 Stereo Sound Bar System with Bluetooth Wireless Technology

We got this stereo bar for our new TV because the TV was making this horrible buzzing sound whenever we turned the volume up louder than 35 when watching a DVD/Blu Ray. This bar works great and was really easy to hook up! It makes a very faint buzzing that cannot be heard over the sound of the movie we're watching. The only thing is that the remote that came with it does not work. The remote came with a battery, so at first we thought that it was just a defective battery, so I got a new one. The new one didn't make the remote work. It's a chincey little thing so I'm not surprised that it didn't work. We'll just have to get up off our butts to turn up the volume :)

This is really a great find for the Price! The remote is small, so you really have to keep it in a safe location. As far as sound goes ,great sound I own barbershop and is loud enough for the whole shop to hear easily. The adjustable equalizer is great! Bluetooth work flawlessly. I would highly recommend you purchase this ,not only do I recommended but I'm going to purchase one from my home as well

Amazon was GREAT about the problems with this purchase. The original sound bar arrived in a flimsy box with no real interior protection. The box was open when FedEx delivered it. Upon inspection, the item looked used, and the remote was incomplete (no battery carriage or battery.) There was no instruction manual or warranty information. Don't know why, but when Amazon gave me the option of receiving a replacement, I said no, and instead waited almost a month for Craig electronics to send a replacement remote after numerous phone calls, e-mails and speaking with a supervisor. Basically, the sound bar is not usable without the remote. The unit paired easily with my Imac and Ipad, though the bluetooth setting has to be turned off on one of them for the other to work. That said, after about six weeks, the sound bar wouldn't pair with either device. I spoke with Amazon technical support, and we tried a number of configurations to try to make it happen, but to no avail. Finally, Amazon offered to replace the unit even though it was well past the 30 day return period because of the extenuating circumstances. A pick-up was issued and the new one arrived free of charge the next day, with an outer box for stability , and interior packing and the remote and the instruction/ warranty manual. I've had the new one now for a few months and so problems (fingers crossed). In hindsight, I think i would have spent the $20 or so more to get the Panisonic or Sony bars that I'd been considering. I don't trust that this will be trouble free. Additionally, there is quite a sound delay from the imac to the soundbar that are placed no more than 12 feet apart when streaming TV or movies. I don't know if this is the case with all bluetooth speakers, but it is one thing that doesn't thrill me about this one. The overall sound is OK, but doesn't compare to the bookshelf speakers that it replaced. BTW... I received 2 additional remotes from Craig about two weeks ago...I just shook my head and laughed...

Did not power up at all!! I bought it for a christmas present, by the time they tried to hook it up it was too late for an exchange or refund..

I just plugged it in and I have to reiterate what everyone else is saying: It does not have the best sound, but it it sounds better than standard flatscreen TV speaker. I live in a house apartment and it doesn't appear to disturb my neighbors so I'll keep it instead of upgrading to a Samsung or Vizio. Absolutely no bass no matter how much I play with the EQ.

It's a good speaker for the price. The sound isn't amazing, not a whole lot better than on my tv unlike my tv it can handle going loud and a lot of bass and I really enjoy the bluetooth feature, we can play music from our phones and laptop from anywhere in the apartment. It only has 3 eq options besides normal and none of them have much bass, but the bass and treble are adjustable on the remote as well as on the actual soundbar. Overall i am satisfied with this purchase.

For the price. ! This is great. Blue tooth hooked to my phone instantly, and as far as the tv sound for what I'm using it for its perfect. I hooked it up to my backyard tv about 15' away from tv. And I love it. Fast shipping. Couldn't ask for a better experience

I don't want to pack it up and send it back but.... I just got this today and I do not like it at all. My previous sound bar was a Sharp. I started to have problems with it so I ordered this one....it's going back for sure. Sound is not that good in comparison. It almost sounds like they are talking through a cup a little bit.I don't know who these people are that gave this 5 stars. It does not deserve 5 stars.
