Franklin NHL One Timer Street / Roller Hockey Passer

Bought this for my 3 year old grandson he loves him his dad his 7 year old hockey playing brother all enjoy it together! Grandma gets the best presents. Worked great. Not noisey wasn't getting stuck and he can do it by himself when he wants

This was purchased as an Amazon Lightning deal for $29! It was supposed to be one of my 6 year old son's Christmas presents but because he is such a hockey fanatic and his hockey coach encourages the team to practice shooting drills at home I decided to give it to him early. It takes 4 D size batteries. We set it up in the basement next to his hockey net and loaded it with Franklin street hockey balls (comes with 4 but it fits 10). There is a red light that flashes right before the pass so that the player can anticipate the pass and get ready for the shot. He absolutely loves it!!!! He spent hours using this the first day and was able to practice independently. Very happy with this purchase especially since it is so easy to use and only cost $29! I can see my son improving his goal shooting and "one timer" shots with this item and I can see him using this daily all season (with or without roller hockey skates). Once spring and summer roll around he will have fun using this outdoors as well. Great item, recommended for all hockey kids!!!

I think this is a genius tool for street hockey players. The ball shoots out at a perfect speed. Maybe it will one day have a ball speed setting. It surprisingly works well with being a battery item. Sometimes battery items are not so durable but so far I've been ok with this. I was little works when it was sort of wet out from the day before but luckily it was durable enough. Only problem I had so far was one jam when I first got it it jammed up bit I found out if I keep loading a abundance amount of balls then it will keep shooting. You can't really just load like 3 balls.

This stopped working within about 20 minutes. The batteries were brand new. I stopped it and tried again the next day, but it still wouldn't work. My son loved it for the brief moment it worked. But overall it's a disappointment.

I really like this. I have bought more than one. It's good for hockey drills with beginners, and as someone who works with kids with special needs, I've been able to put it to use for other game besides hockey.

This is an outstanding product and works as advertised. It's a great training tool to set up anywhere and it's really fun to use. The only complaint I have, however minor, there's no adjustment on the speed at which the ball comes out of the passer but I think it's a good speed for what I want. I haven't used it enough to run the batteries down but I've put approximately 200 balls through it and it's still running strong. There's about an 8 second break between balls, which is ample time to prepare for a shot and enough storage for 10 balls in the chute. Highly recommend this product.

My sons FAVORITE Chiristmas present by far! Very fast shipping and with just a couple of batteries (I believe size D) it gives him hours of fun! Works well and has pretty good power for its price. The one thing I would suggest is to buy a few more balls or you will be chasing balls quite a bit. Having said that this is definitely a must have for you little hockey player. I would recommend this item to everyone who loves hockey.

It's a very useful product but the quality wasn't consistent. The first one I got didn't work. I had it replaced. The second one worked well for about 4 months of use 1x/2x per week. It ultimately broke. I got a third unit which worked but the balls came out very, very slowly. I returned that one and the one I have now works generally well. During Covid, it was a great product to have.
